This is South Wales - Scotland may be set for exit
IPSWISH boss Paul Jewell has confirmed he is in the market for a new striker, which could pave the way for Jason Scotland to leave.
Scotland has been strongly linked with a loan move back to Swansea City, while Jewell has revealed he would allow him to leave if he can find a suitable replacement, though the Trinidad & Tobago striker had scored twice in Ipswich's last three games before last night.
After Swansea's initial interest the move seems to have hit a stumbling block over Scotland's wages, but Jewell said: "If you look at QPR, (Nottingham) Forest, Cardiff — they have all got that player who can get you 25 goals a season.
"It's very difficult to pick up a player like that during the season but that's certainly an area in which we would like to strengthen."
