HARFORD HUSHED BUT SINCLAIR SIGNS
Boss Ray Harford was encouraged by the performance against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, despite the disappointment of the defeat.
"I was very proud of the effort from the players on Saturday. I think we were terrific against Forest. We worked very hard. Some of the passing, moving and counter-attacking was very good. It was just that we didn't get the goal. If it had finished 0-0 we would have been quite happy. All my players played with total honesty and that's all you can ask for.
He has also spoken about the Trevor Sinclair transfer speculation.
'I'm not in a position to say if Trevor Sinclar is leaving. The press speculation has been well off the mark. There have been no quotes from us. All the quotes have been coming from the other side.
R's fans however were greeted with the news on Tuesday that Trevor had agreed terms with West Ham and subject to a medical would be moving to Upton Park.
Keith Rowland and Iain Dowie have signed in at Loftus Road in addition to R's receiving a 2M fee.

R'S TRANSFER FRENZY - EXCL
RANGERS CHAIRMAN CHRIS WRIGHT has today revealed a R's transfer frenzy as seven players make their ins and outs at Loftus Road,
Trevor Sinclair looks set to leave today after Rangers agreed a deal with West Ham for a fee of 2M with Northern Ireland internationals, Iain Dowie and Keith Rowland moving into Shepherds Bush as part of the deal. Trevor has agreed personal terms with the Hammers, and it looks certain that he will be an Upton Park player by Wednesday evening after he undergoes a medical at West Ham's training ground tomorrow.
Keith Rowland has enjoyed his second spell under Harry Redknapp, having originally left his native Portadown to sign schoolboy forms with Bournemouth. On Redknapp's recommendation, Billy Bonds picked up the adaptable young Cherry for 110,000 on the eve of the 1993-94 season.
After four years at Upton Park and with more than a dozen international caps to his name, the 26 year old fullback has been out of the first team picture at Upton Park since the arrival of David Unsworth and the emergence of Stan Lazaridis.
Iain Dowie has been the talk of transfer speculation at Loftus Road having originally turned down a chance to join the R's on loan shortly after the appointment of manager Ray Harford.
The 6'2" striker has been enjoying his second spell in East London and his other previous clubs include Luton, Southampton and Crystal Palace. He has played many times for Northern Ireland, but his Hammers appearances have been limited since the arrival of John Hartson, Paul Kitson and Samassi Abou and at 32 years old, Iain has been keen on a move to gain regular first team football.
Liverpool's and Republic of Ireland winger Mark Kennedy has joined R's on a six week loan deal with a view to a permanent transfer at the end of the spell if both club and player are satisfied.
Kennedy has failed to make the breakthrough to the Liverpool first team following his 2M move to Anfield from Millwall two years ago, in a switch which made him the countries most expensive teenager at the time. Mark has made just 15 starts for Liverpool but is a regular for the Republic of Ireland and at 21 years old is still a youngster with a big future in the game.
Defender Rufus Brevett has moved across London to join Fulham for a fee in the region of 375,000, as boss Ray Harford looks to balance the books and with the return to fitness of David Bardsley and Trevor Challis, defenders are at a premium.
Rufus will be re-united with former R's boss Ray Wilkins as Rangers neighbours look to strengthen their squad in the bid for promotion from Division Two.
Rufus joined Rangers in February 1991 from Doncaster for 250,000 and has been a regular in the team since making his debut in March 1991 against Tottenham.
American goalkeeper Juergen Sommer has returned to Major League soccer in the USA, and a fee of $350,000 has been finalised with the franchise in the States.
Juergen joined QPR from Luton Town in August 1965 for 650,000 making his debut against Leeds United in Spetember 1995. He has been a regular member of USA's international squad.
Rangers are also to receive a small fee for former striker Danniel Dichio, after he agreed terms with Sunderland following his unsuccessful spell in Italy with Sampdoria and Lecce.
Dichio took advantage of the Bosman ruling in the summer to clinch a free transfer, but has been unable to make an impression in Italian football and his move to Wearside comes nearly a year after an initial approach by Sunderland, when they tried to sign the lanky striker during the 1996/97 season.

"MORE TO COME" CW - EXCL
RANGERS CHAIRMAN CHRIS WRIGHT has promised R's fans more players could be on their way to QPR, after a day which saw seven potential ins and outs at Loftus Road.
The chairman indicated that more cash would be made available to manager Ray Harford, if he felt further additions we needed to boost R's bid to climb the league table.
" When we came down from the Premier League we thought it was a case of bringing in one or two new faces and we'd be straight back up again and everything would be rosy."
" What we didn't realise was that we'd need a complete rebuild and I don't think any R's fans thought that either. Most people thought we had the players to get us back into the Premier League, but the reality is this is a very different division and that when a club has come down after a good spell in the topflight, certain star players may be at the end of their contracts or have left so you really do need to rebuild."
We recognise that now and whilst promotion is not totally out of the question this season, it's not as likely as we would have liked so we have to rebuild the team."
" We now have a new manager in charge with new ideas and he wants to develop his own team for the future, so there will be more players coming and going."
The Chairman then sent a message to all R's fans to remind them of Ray Harford's two additions to the squad, George Kulscar and Antil Heinola, but to reiterate Rangers wont buy for buyings sake.
" George made a real impact on the team, even though he only lasted 20 minutes when he was unlucky to pick up an injury, but he will be back in the next two weeks. Heinola came on for his debut on Saturday and he is a current Finnish international."
" When you add Rowland, Dowie and Kennedy, that's five new players at the club in recent weeks and all I can promise that if we need more there will be more."
" Howver we wont sign disaffected Premiership players. We want players here who want to play for Queens Park Rangers."

QPR Official Site - Jan 28, 2008- MARK WINGS IN
REPUBLIC of IRELAND international Mark Kennedy is excited about his six week spell on loan at Rangers, as he switches from Anfield in a bid to resurrect his career.
Mark, 21, has joined the R's until March 4th with a view to a permanent transfer if both club and player are satisfied. As the winger joined up with his new teamates, he revealed his reasons for the switch.
" QPR are a good club for me. It's a big club with a lot of potential and there are a lot of good players here, so I'm pleased to be involved."
" I'm an out and out left winger and I'm looking forward to playing my part here. I hope I can help the club get back up the table and as long as I'm here I'll be doing my upmost for Rangers."

DOWIE LOOKS AHEAD
NEW SIGNING Iain Dowie is relishing the challenge that lies ahead at Rangers following his move from West Ham.
Iain, 33, says: " I'm very pleased with the move. QPR are in a false position. I think Rangers are a big club with a fine ground and fanatical support. I've always enjoyed playing at Loftus Road in the past. The playing surface is one of the best in the league."
" It is good to team up with Ray Harford again. I played with him before at Luton. He's an excellent coach and Rangers have some excellent players here, so I'm looking forward to helping the team push up the league as quickly as possible."
Iain has 46 caps for Northern Ireland and is one goal short of his country's all-time scoring record.
