AND Ainsworth was sick - yet still able to make team of the week Buckinghamshire Advertiser - Gaz: 'Break no bad thing' Jan 25 2011 By Greg Burns BLUES skipper Gareth Ainsworth said he is not too concerned about a weekend break from action after leaving his sickbed on Saturday to score the winner. The 37-year-old was struck down with a virus before the Rotherham game but epitomised Wycombe's spirit by netting the winning goal. Ainsworth and his team-mates have a break from competitive action this weekend as scheduled opponents Hereford are in FA Cup fourth round action. And the ex-QPR man thinks they can benefit from a break before they return to action on February 1. He said: "I have had a virus so I am not too concerned about that. It is nice to get the rest in us and will also be nice for the coaching staff to get something new into us and there will be a few new ideas. "The lads have worked hard in the last four or five weeks so a break won't do us any harm." www.buckinghamshireadvertiser.co.uk/2011/01/25/gaz-break-no-bad-thing-82398-28049457/
