But please post here any views or ideas that any of you might have re how posters on this board should conduct themselves...And how Moderators should act. If you have any views that you don't want to post here. Just pm me
Don't guarantee to implement your suggestion. But certainly will consider it very carefully.

To Start with... Treat people with respect (even if you despise them); or at least try. Don't rekindle old messageboard feuds; Don't attack/criticize people on here on the basis of what they've done and said on other boards. Count to 10 before Responding. Even if you're in the right and in the wrong, consider whether an ignore is better than a response. Remember we're all adults (some considerably older than others Whatever our pasts, we're all today QPR Fans. There's a difference between an opinion, an assertion; and a charge; and a verifiable fact; between what you've heard as a rumour; what's been posted on another board doesnt make it so Have to curb your accusationsYou can't just say this man is a crook or that man is a crook. Try and curb your language! An early format "Board Welcome: Focus & Purpose - Problems/FAQs" qprreport.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=8What additional points would you like to see? And even if you know you yourself have "sinned", what else...?

Instead of talking about it, why don't you just delete the direct attacks on other posters?? All of which have no substance, they are simply to antagoise

We do and we actually use that word quite a lot when we do. If you stick around I'm sure you'll see it spelt correctly often enough and that will be educational for you as well. Bonus!

Point being, are you going to take away the offending posts or leave them here??

Yes, you do. How about sending details of your complaint in a PM to Mike for the moderators to discuss. I have seen no direct attacks up you, as I have previously mentioned, you've only posted a handful of times but feel you have some right to attack the posters and moderators of this site. If there is an ulterior motive for your views why are you a new poster with only 20 contributions to the board as a whole? Or perhaps you simply do not want to reveal who you really are.

Point being, are you going to take away the offending posts or leave them here?? In the recent days any and all offenders have been spoken to privately and sometimes publicly about their future conduct on this board. This took place before this thread was put up and it's purpose is to reinforce people of what had been put to them in private messages. We reserve the right to remove offending messages solely at the request of individuals. I have had one such request and so far that person has been unable to find the offending post and that matter is presently ongoing. If you have a specific post that relates to you personally please do not hesitate to PM my-self or any other moderator and we will look into it with due concern. Focus on QPR that's what the board is for, but we take your comments about our moderation on board and thank you for your opinion. Onwards and upwards (together).

Mr. Toothache, what gives you the right to suddenly sign in on this board and tell us how to run it. Is that what you signed in for, this is a QPR fans board for about football and of course QPR first and foremost. If it has no appeal except carp, criticse and moralise there is really no place for you here. Dont worry, we will not remove you but be prepared to be ignored if you keep up this stream of holier than though quality. Another recent signer on wanted to do the same as you are doing. We dont look kindly upon this at QPR Report.

Well done for doing this (and this is of course to all mods). I don't know if it is just because I am no longer number one bogeyman, but I have noticed the level abuse decline over the past few days, as well as the quality of at least some of the debate, at least, rise. When you add to this the fact that you are having quite a few visitors from other sites regularly posting here (esp IndyRs, WRTRBs, LFW), often with very divergent views, you must be doing something right

Glass of red wine Nico. Seriously, thanks for that and I think the effort is finally paying off here. To be fair, we haven't had to have a heavy mod presence until recently, for obvious reasons. It's a good board because it's focus is QPR and football in general and I commend Report for that and for sticking to his guns with it. Also, if at some point in time you haven't disagreed with him you've been seriously missing out. Only joking Report. ;D Nico, did you ever get to buy Smiffy that beer?

Thanks cpr
All these references to red wine, anyone would think I am a bit of a lush Although I have to admit I do like a glass of red so much so in fact that I am planting a very small vineyard by my place in Italy to make some Cabernet in the future (surprisingly what my locals make). So, in at least 3 years maybe we will all be able to share a glass of Villa De Marco plonk
I bought Smiffy a beer or two some time ago, so long in fact I remember being interrupted by a phone call from Antonio Caliendo unhappy about something in the papers re the QPR board. So long no doubt Smiff has forgotten. I promise to give him a glass of red in 3 years ;D
