If you were Ainsworth and were offered the managership position (Chief Coach) Would you accept?
I'd say yes. It would be a bad appointment for QPR. But personally it would be good leg up, even if he failed/and was axed. Got to seize an opportunity when you get it.

It depends what the terms of reference in the job description were - this is something we'll never know, and therefore probably can't comment on whether this would be good for Gaz or not, or whether he'd accept or not.

I agree with admin, as they say in Italy" its just business nothing personal" and if you were offered a better job with a much bigger wage it might just sway you. He may lose his assistant managers job anyway if someone new comes in and wants to bring his own backroom staff. The fear from a supporters view maybe is that he would just be rubber stamping what was passed down from above.
