To participate in this survey you have to be registered with the FFC which, if you haven't done previously, you can do at the end of this survey and register the team you support.
Q1. If you had to choose one of the following over the other, which would it be?
The success of your club as a business
The success of the playing side of your club
Q2. Your club has a good ground and you are just about filling it. It announces plans to spend funds on a redevelopment costing £10's of millions to increase capacity, improve facilities and generate new commercial opportunities to reinvest in the club. Would you rather that the money was spent on the team, or on the ground redevelopment?
The team
The ground development
Q3. If your club announced plans to redevelop your ground how bothered would you be about having to move and sit in another part of the ground for a whole season? (If you are not a season ticket holder, please answer questions 3 to 7 how you think you would feel assuming that you are a season ticket holder)
Massively – I wouldn’t go to games anymore
A bit - but I would stomach it as long as I didn’t have to pay any more money
Not bothered – and I would pay whatever it cost to be seated in a new area
Not bothered at all – in fact I would volunteer to move because I am happy that the club is developing
Q4. If you were forced to move to a stand where the season ticket price was higher than in your previous seat, do you think that you should have to pay the same as the regular season ticket holders in that stand?
No – the club forced me to move so I shouldn’t have to pay any more
Not bothered
Yes – it wouldn’t be fair sitting next to someone and paying x% less than them
Q5. During the redevelopment the overall capacity of your club’s ground is reduced. Should all existing season ticket holders be allowed to have a season ticket during the redevelopment? Or should the club still keep the same number of tickets available for individuals who ‘walk-up’ to the game on an irregular basis?
All season tickets holders should be able to renew their tickets
The club should keep a higher proportion of walk-up tickets as it looks to increase the fan base, ready for a bigger stadium post redevelopment
Q6. If you were unable to buy a ticket for a game for a season while you club was redeveloping it's ground, what would the likelihood be of your returning to watch the game lives, once the redevelopment had been completed?
I would definitely return to watching live games
I'm not sure if I would return or not
There is no way I would return / be able to return if I stopped going
Q7. If you had to pick one from the following options - what is (/what do you think would be) your biggest motivation for buying a season-ticket?
Price
Team's performance
Ease of payment (e.g. monthly payments)
Security of always having a seat
Loyalty
Q8. Which of the following best fits how you would describe the match day experience at your club?
Fantastic, engaging, electric atmosphere, inspiring with excellent customer service
Good, some atmosphere, above satisfactory customer service
Minimum expectations are met on all levels
Poor, little atmosphere, poor customer service
Don't know
Q9. If your club implemented an overriding new ‘membership’ scheme, would you join?
Yes, definitely
Maybe, depending on price and benefits
Not unless the gained value outweighed the cost of membership
No, all I want is my ticket and maybe my shirt
Q10. Of the following options, which one do you think would be the best way to increase the level of attendances at your club’s games?
Price, make it cheaper
Improve the quality of football
Make the atmosphere better, so it's an exciting place to be
Make the stadia facilities better
Q11. Do you think that your club does enough within it's local community to promote a sense of ‘civic pride’ in supporting the local club?
No, there is very little done to make locals feel proud of supporting the club
Yes, I think local people feel that it is important to support the club on a regular basis
Q12. If your club was relegated this season (or in future seasons), would you still go and watch with the same regularity the following season in a lower division?
Yes, irrelevant of price
Yes, depending on price
No, irrelevant of price
Don't know
Q13. If your club was in a promotion / title race next season would you still go and watch with the same regularity as this season?
Yes, irrelevant of price
Yes, depending on price
No, irrelevant of price
Don't know
Q14. If you would like to make any comments, or make suggestions for future surveys then please do so below:
