ALZHEIMER'S SOCIETY
Alzheimer's Society
Three big reasons to vote for the Alzheimer's Society
- 1 in 3 people over the age of 65 will die with dementia
- Your club and fellow supporters are already affected by dementia
- Your support will help support families in all Football League local communities
Dementia is caused by diseases of the brain and the most common form is Alzheimer's disease. Everyday tasks like dressing, eating, walking and talking become more difficult. It is a terminal illness that robs people of their lives. There is no cure.
100,000 people develop dementia every year - this will include carers and families in local communities all over the UK. Thousands of The Football League supporters, clubs, and players are struggling to cope with dementia today.
"Having watched my dear Dad succumb to this vile disease, I felt as though I'd been bereaved twice" - Jackie whose Dad died with dementia
Please vote for us today and help us to support thousands of families affected by dementia in local communities.

Breast Cancer Care
Do you remember the first time your mum gave you a lift to football? The time she cheered you on from the sideline when you were losing? Or when she washed the team strip and made you hot chocolate when you came home cold and soaking wet? Well it's time to say thank you and celebrate the mums in our lives. It's time to 'do it for mum'. Why? Because last year nearly 46,000 women - many of them mums - were diagnosed with breast Cancer. And next year another 46,000 will hear the same devastating news. In two years that's enough people to fill Wembley Stadium - a staggering number.
Breast Cancer Care wants to be there for every single one of them - and their families, friends and loved ones - when they need us most. We provide expert information and skilled emotional and practical support to anyone living with this life-threatening disease through our free Helpline, information-packed website and special face-to-face support services.
Every year, more and more people need our expert help. Please make sure we are there for them: 'do it for mum' and vote for Breast Cancer Care.
