With still a few hours to go until kick-off, trouble in Seville has started after 'Three Lions' fans were stopped by police for throwing bottles and oranges at cars...
English fans have been stopped by police in Sevilla after they were caught throwing oranges and bottles at cars today.
Sport reports that four or five drunk fans were involved in the incident, which did not feature any arrests or further trouble.
The English supporters are reported to have cut through traffic on Calle Alemanes, translated as German Street, and begun to throw bottles and oranges at the cars.
The police intervention soon stopped the fans in their tracks, and it was not necessary for them to carry out arrests.
Police presence in the area is still thought to be high though and the street is reported to be littered with broken glass and rubbish.
Hundreds of English fans have descended on Sevilla for the clash between Spain and England tonight, and they are believed to have taken over the Irish bars in the area.
This incident aside there has been no trouble reported though, but the Spanish authorities will probably be more worried about what goes on in the stadium than outside after the trouble in the Bernabeu.
On that occasion various members of the English side were submitted to racist chanting from the Spanish support and John Terry has admitted his side could walk off if the same happens this evening.
The match takes place at 22:00 CET in the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
