Very impressed today...you wouldn't have thought that display was from a rudderless team.
Back four was immense and Leigertwood was my MotM, though Stewart who got the Sky MotM was very solid....lots of pace in the back 4 also.
Thought Di Carmine played well (more pace & strength than you'd think) and Blackstock was a handful for the final 30 minutes. Buzz, Rowly, Mahon & Cook all worked hard and we could have nicked it but a fair result in the end
My one moan would be Parejo....sloppy and doesn't do enough for me but hopefully he'll prove me wrong.

Agree with that 100%......midfield just need to join the attack a bit quicker and look for forward defence splitting passes...and the goals will come.

Good post portugeezer. I thought Parejo looked decent in the first half but got lazy and sloppy in the second. Balanta should have replaced him but probably not allowed!!! Thought di Carmine did pretty well in his first start, probably deserved a look in sooner.

Very unexpected but welcome point. Legs was supurb i didnt realise how quick he is till today. Di Carmine was ok but we upped a gear when Dex came on! I dont care what Ains said Flavio picked that team and what do you know he got it right. Exellent performance from the boys lets have another one against Brum. Oh yeah what has happened to Ledesma is he injured?

firstly read the "news" cant know what really happenned. One report is that Dowie got himself fired or asked to be. to me the selection process itself was the risk. Dowies name induced shudders in football at that choice. Not withstanding another selection imminent and will that work. Suddenly Brie want points or shows the exit but that can change. Unlless brie and ains do a joint for awhile. Also why Legs at full back. Now thats got to be Ains. To the game. Well a great point and can happen after turmoil. Coppels lot seemed tame to me in first half. We danced the Italian way which was DiCanios dance and it looke premier classs until we got into their territory and we ran out of ideas. since wqe havent rehearsed that dance its no wonder. Parej tried hard I thought and if hadnt dramatized his fall might have got the spot. Backs good but not great again unsettled Chernie on that drop. Ref and asst missed Connoly which we like that going our way. Officials wool gathering usually goes the other way, being on TV they couldnt muck up so were cautious. Kissys shot late was a big play and Chernie really shows strong talent, Problems again are backs that still watch the game at terrible times.
@nd half reading swung into gear and our game swung out and lots of great defensive plays and lots of near misses by the blue and which confounded me continually when a blue hoop had the ball. The pace picked up and we reverted to classic 2 step but some good chances. Blackstok Parejo almost scored and Bsak almost drove the goalie through net with his drive. Hope he resumes his heavy blasting from last year. Never a dull moment being an Rs fan. With a new striker that sizzles we take home 3 points. Doesnt the Allen family have a grandson by now that is a goalscoring machine?
ps Vialli my clairvoyant pick unless someone know hes ruled out.

think that the defence was magnificent but we should have played dexter from the start and played buzsacky in his familiar right wing slot that de canio gave him he plunderd eleven goals last season from that position we needed strikers today we didnt have any
