I know nothing re this site. Seems just rumours. And the kind of bs one sees on some (not USUALLY this) messageboards. But at minimum shows, we're getting up in the world of football gossip. Not too many signings from the last few seasons have been hotly wanted in recent years www.caughtoffside.com/2010/09/23/west-ham-keen-on-in-form-6m-rated-championship-striker/West Ham Keen On In Form £6m Rated Championship Striker by Mr Neutral on September 23rd, 2010 Upton Park struggler’s express interest in Loftus Road goal machine. West Ham are considering a move for Qpr hotshot Jamie Mackie in the January transfer window as Avram Grant looks to further strengthen his Upton Park attack. The 24 year old only arrived at Loftus Road in the summer from Plymouth but has had an amazing start to the Championship season which has alerted a number of Premier League sides. The Dorking born forward has netted eight times in seven matches to help Neal Warnock’s side to top spot and interest in his services have grown as a result with the likes of Stoke City and Wigan also reportedly taking an interest in the former Wimbledon trainee. It is thought that it would take a bid of as much as £6m to persuade the west London club to listen and even then the cash rich Super Hoops wouldn’t really feel the need to cash in. A lot would depend on Mackie himself who may be interested in a swift move to the top tier rather than waiting to see if Qpr can make it this season although clearly a lot would then depend on whether the Hammers were still entrenched in a relegation dog fight.

The Irons are on the way down. Nothing for Mackie there other than a big pay day.

Every club has its price and after reading some of the stupid prices, I'd smack a 35 Million tag on Mackie. Now go F*** off Wet Spam.

If we seriously got an offer for £6million for him, what would you do? I would accept it. 5.5million profit in just 6 months too bloody right I would accept it.

£6 million in the bank from Mackie sale, or potential £60 million for promotion to the Premiership?
Why would we wanna sell now!

What if Mackie is out for the season following an injury?
Plus we will already be promoted by January 1st at this rate!
