Probably there will be some jokes (I was going to say "cracks") but this is serious, good work by the club. QPR Official SiteMENTAL HEALTH LEAGUE FESTIVALQueens Park Rangers Football Club, Remploy and Community Sports Coach Anthony Doherty, would like to invite your team to the Mental Health League Festival to be held at The Linford Christie Stadium. The details are as follows: Date: Friday 3rd April 2009 Time: 10:30am-3:00pm - Registration 10.15am Venue: Linford Christie Stadium, Du Cane Road, London, W12 0DF Nearest tube: White City station (Central line) Cost: £25.00 per team - cheque made payable to "QPR IN THE COMMUNITY" Five-a-side with a maximum of 8 players per team. Two teams can be entered if you have adequate amount of players. *The winning team of eight will be issued with QPR v Crystal Palace tickets for our fixture against the Eagles on Saturday 4th April. I've know I've said this before but with some of the recent bad feelings towards the club I hope fans recognise that our Community team are excellent and do great things with a very meagre budget.
Well done Rangers and all the Community Team.
