I got an inquiry from someone whose mother used to play for QPR women in the late 1960s (1968-1970). (To be honest, I didn't know there even was such a thing).
Looking for photos or articles or suggestions of where to turn

Should have added that the daughter of one of the players from this era was looking for this information. If you yourself don't know, but have any suggestions of where to look, or who to contact...

I would have thought Terry Springett might be able to help.

Indeed via terrys@qpr.co.uk or Neil Dejyothin (Neil_si on LFW, I think) who's involved with the current ladies setup, let me know, I'll get contact details if required.

Thanks. I'll pass them on the daughter. And if the daughter gets any responses (and gives me feedback - that doesn't always happen), I'll be sure to let you know

We were pretty good in the 70's & 80's. i'm sure we won the womens FA Cup and they had us on the opening credits one season for Big League Soccer or something like that. They also had gooner womens on it.

I appreciate I'm a little late to the party on this post but there was definitely a QPR ladies team (amateur) back in the 60s. My mum and aunt both played for them. I have more info somewhere amongst my mums belongings but this is the only picture I have to hand.

Looking for photos or articles or suggestions of where to turn I used to play for Queens Park Rangers ladies in the 1970’s, I have just written a book which starts when the club was formed in 1969, get in touch I may know your mother

They also had gooner womens on it. I was involved with Queens Park Rangers ladies in the 1970 and yes we won the womens FA cup in 1977 being the first London club to achieve this. I have just written a book all about our experiences back then so anyone interested get in touch
