And this for those who haven't looked is what Caliendo said on his blog on October 24 and October 1 (English translation as posted by Caliendo on his Blog). There was another blog post by Caliendo re Briatore, a few months ago, but he took that one down.
Anyone actually know what this is about?
- October 24 - Caliendo sul QPR e Briatore Antonio Caliendo, former Chairman of Queens Park Rangers FC, has instructed lawyers Donald Manasse, in Principality of Monaco, and Barrister Steven Gee, QC, of Stone Chambers in London, in his legal dispute with the QPR’s Board Chairman Flavio Briatore. - “There are serious disputes” said Mr. Caliendo. “It is unfortunate that I have had to take these steps against a club that I respect and that I worked so hard to protect during difficult economic times .”- Mr. Caliendo is the president of World Champions Club, the sports agency based in Monte Carlo, and of the international award “Golden Foot”. He contracted to sell his QPR’s shares to Mr. Briatore in 2007. - “I hope that there are no further transfer and sales of shares in QPR ownership,” said Mr. Caliendo, “until all these questions are resolved.”
October 1, 2008 - Caliendo replies to Briatore Regarding the article appeared on SportsPro of the month of August 2008 by Tom Rubython and Graham Fudger, where Mr Flavio Briatore express some appreciations not particularly pleasant on the former shareholders of Queens Park Rangers, that he recently bought. What said by Mr Briatore doesn’t correspond to the truth. On the right time we will expose publicly what really happened during the conveancy of the shares to this person and his partners, the question is now on the hands of my lawyers. Who knows and who cares. The worst is that Calliendo gets QPR back plus some money damages. If that happens I will support Brentford. (what league are they in?)
