Hugely Impressive.
Tommy Smith transfer "didnt go through" apparently, Iain Dowie said "Blame it on Gianni" Get the impression we have still got Tommy Smith on loan ( ? ) though.

Oh drats missed him today , Well i suppose on the Smith one we must be in a good position to make it permanent in Jan though ! Gives us a good chance to look at him aswell , perhaps thats why somebody waylaid the paperwork our end , although im convinced hes an improvement to our squad . Seeing as Neil wanted just one loan player , i presume this means now we will have a minimum of 2 loans{1 striker loan ?} , but whatever its better than the 6/7 we had last year !

For what it's worth a poster on another board was also very impressed by the comments (although he took from the interview that Smith definitely is a QPR player). Guess we will wait and see

And Talksport www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/9520/exclusive-warnock-jagielka-should-be-england-regulary Michael Wade Sunday, September 5 0 comments QPR manager Neil Warnock has hailed Phil Jagielka’s performance for England against Bulgaria claiming he is good enough to become a regular for Fabio Capello’s side. The Everton defender completed 90 minutes against Bulgaria keeping a clean sheet in and now looks set to start against Switzerland on Tuesday in the second qualifying match. Warnock who managed Jagielka at Sheffield United told talkSPORT: “I think it will be who plays with Jagielka in the years to come. I thought he should have gone to the World Cup. I still don’t understand why he didn’t go. He’ll only get better he'll be a regular. “ "He should have gone to the World Cup." ” Neil Warnock He was one of those kids you could play anywhere; he’d play right back for me, centre midfield, centre-half. His best game probably was when he went in goal against Arsenal. “Sometimes he gets a little bit casual and that’s why playing at the higher standard will eliminate those little moments where he sometimes takes a chance. I think he needs games now and as with Hart this is the time to play them. On Jagielka’s speed Warnock added: “He’s worked on that. We worked on his strength in that department. His recovery is his best part. If you watch his timing he anticipates it. He very rarely gets done for pace because of his anticipation. “I never used to think Bobby Moore was quick but he never got himself in a situation where he got exposed.” Related Content Exclusive - Jagielka: 'England fans were amazing' Tags EvertonPremier LeagueSheffield United

Can't judge either way) re Smith: Deal has NOT Gone through yet Problems with some paperwork apparently"I'm sure we'll work it out..." Question about money at QPR - In Jan, will we be given money to bolster... "I think it can ony get better" - Bhatia is the man I went to the club for and works with Had problems signing players throughout the year.

Begging the question: If Warnock works with Bhatia: Again what need for the expensive extra man at Loftus Road?

Difficult one that but it depends on one's opinions or angle I guess.
The extra man obviously has numerous contacts in the game, agent wise etc.
Does he have more contacts than the older and experienced Colin? Who knows.
I do believe, I could be wrong, that the extra man was instrumental in bringing Taarabt to Rangers due to his frindship with "whealer dealer 'arry". I might be wrong as Colin said he'd been chasing Taarabt all summer but he wasn't answering his calls. He must have been answering the calls of someone though.
It'll all come out in the wash. ;D
