CAPELLO TURNS TO YOUNG GUNS Wilshere and Gibbs included in England squad
By Tom Barclay, 07/08/2010 FABIO CAPELLO has turned to Arsene Wenger's young guns for Wednesday's friendly against Hungary, calling up Jack Wilshere and Kieran Gibbs.
The Arsenal pair are joined by Theo Walcott, who was a surprise omission from England's World Cup squad, along with fellow debutants Bobby Zamora and Gary Cahill, of Fulham and Bolton Wanderers respectively.
Birmingham's new signing Ben Foster has been recalled to the squad along with Wes Brown, Phil Jagielka, Adam Johnson, Ashley Young and Carlton Cole.
There was no place for Liverpool new boy Joe Cole, while Tottenham duo Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe have also been left out.
England squad for the friendly match against Hungary on Wednesday:
Goalkeepers: Foster (Birmingham), Hart (Manchester City), Robinson (Blackburn)
Defenders: Brown (Manchester United), Cahill (Bolton), A Cole (Chelsea), Dawson (Tottenham), Gibbs (Arsenal), Jagielka (Everton), G Johnson (Liverpool), Terry (Chelsea)
Midfielders: Barry (Manchester City), Gerrard (Liverpool), A Johnson (Manchester City), Lampard (Chelsea), Milner (Aston Villa), Young (Aston Villa), Walcott (Arsenal), Wilshere (Arsenal)

LOACH RECEIVES ENGLAND CALL Tue 10 Aug 2010 WATFORD goalkeeper Scott Loach has been called up to the full England squad by Fabio Capello for tomorrow's friendly with Hungary. The Under-21 international has received the nod along with Frankie Fielding of Blackburn Rovers following the withdrawal of former Watford loanee Ben Foster with a back injury.
