With Mittal and Ecclestones wealth I simply find the whole situation "fantastic."

Even by QPR's standards, this would represent a real low point.
Wouldnt touch QPR with a bargepole if we had a Nonce playing for us.
Wouldnt spit on him if he was on fire.

Gee thanks, two posters feel we are sad, sad people. Replace sad with prinicpled and you may be a hell of a lot closer to the truth. Sign him and we can replace "family club" with scumbag club". That would make me feel sad. I totally agree with CPR. There is a difference between giving everything to win and doing anything to win.

Beside his rotten character there seems to be a view that he will score prolifically for us if he signs and that makes throwing our morals down the toilet worthwhile.
Ask any Forest fan, King is sh1te.

The story doesn't equal the headline. ANd they're not always 100% accurate! Anyways sounds not going to happen tomorrow Mirror - Coventry go for jailbird King Published 22:30 05/08/10 By James Nursey Coventry boss Aidy Boothroyd has admitted for the first time he may sign Marlon King. Striker King, 30, is available on a Bosman after leaving jail last week following his sacking by Premier League Wigan Athletic. King was freed early after being sentenced to 18 months last October for sexually assaulting and causing actual bodily harm to a woman in December 2008. King now intends to resume his professional career imminently and has Coventry and QPR vying for his signature. Sky Blues manager Boothroyd was initially cool on the prospects of linking up again with his former Watford striker King. But Boothroyd said yesterday: "I have spoken to him. "I think we are still a couple of players away from how I would like it and I would expect us to add a couple more before the deadline. "I am sure in the next few weeks Marlon will make a decision on where he wants to play and I am sure at some time or another me and him will have a sit down. "I am sure he will ask my opinion because we have a relationship from those times at Watford." From the Beeb.............
Sex attack footballer Marlon King vows to clear name
Marlon King was released from prison last week Former Premier League footballer Marlon King has said "he will fight tooth and nail" to overturn his conviction for sexually assaulting a woman in a club.
King was jailed for 18 months after being convicted of sexually assaulting and punching the 20-year-old woman in the face and breaking her nose.
The former Wigan Athletic player, who claimed he was the victim of mistaken identity, was freed last week.
"I'm not trying to paint myself as an angel but I am no sex beast," he said.

the FA should of banned him from ever playin again , had it been one of the boards daughter.s then maybe they would feel different. if and hopefully he never will don a qpr shirt, but this is qpr so there is a chance,i don1t care how many goals he scores i shall never cheer or speak his name ,in fact i shall feel shame and embaressment- in my book if you beat and abuse women that puts you in the same catogry as pedos keep w12 king free keep w12 a family club.

Thanks for the link Blatant.
I like how he says he has all the evidence, including CCTV to prove he is innocence, yet the courts found him guilty? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Where was the evidence during the trial then?
Idiot

He's obviously welcome to appeal, etc. If per chance, he's innocent, let's hope he's acclaimed as innocent. And if he was guilty, let's hope, that his guilt is accepted

1 year contract yet to agree personal terms, could be good business from the club.

Well some would call it good business i would say that Queen's Park Rangers once proud standing as a family club which has taken a beating in the last few seasons, will if true now send that thinking to hell in a handcart. RIP moral ethics in football.

If Colin signs him, my club can go f*ck themselves until he's King is gone. Would show why he will always be Colin though.

We dont need this disruption imo, but if Warnock wants him, well so be it. I would also say that Amit
and Ishan have also had to do some thinking about this.

Mail QPR boss Neil Warnock considering move for shamed striker Marlon King By Sportsmail Reporter Neil Warnock is ready to hand disgraced Marlon King a route back into football at QPR. King is looking for a club after being serving nine months in prison for assaulting a woman in a nightclub. QPR boss Warnock admits he would consider a move for the former Watford, Hull and Wigan striker, saying: 'We haven't got a 20-goal-a-season man and you do need one. 'He has served his time and we live in a country that we say when they have served their time give them another opportunity. 'He is a good player and I think he will score goals.' King was given an 18-month sentence last October after being convicted of assault and GBH following a brutal attack on student Emily Carr, which left the pretty blonde with a broken nose. Warnock added: 'I am not condoning what he has done but I look at some of the other cases of players who have got into trouble in the past. 'People have killed people and they never got the stick this lad has got. Whoever takes him he will want to prove himself.' www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1301380/Neil-Warnock-considering-Marlon-King.html#ixzz0w4maGjtt

Despite what Colin thinks, if King scored 20 goals for us, it would be in a few more seasons than just the one Colin hopes for.
