Even if they didn't, at least the club discovered what 95% of the fanbase thought of him and the impact he would have had on the club and it's fans. |

You have to wonder how much truth there was to the rumour. And that even if we end(ed) up not signing him...Were we interested/talking to him...I'd bet yes. And that is in of itself a stain on the character of some people at QPR. (In my opinion.)

Still how often have QPR said one thing and done another? Such as more Managers in the last five years when stability is what was really needed??

obk - yes, I'm happy about the decision. And another good lesson, as Mike alludes, about not listening too much to gossip and rumour, even if I may say it is from a certain someone's mate who has seen things with his own eyes etc.
londonranger - I think you must have missed finney's post at the end of page 6, indeed I expect the moderators generally must of all missed it, since it was the most personal attack on this thread, not only attacking another poster but apparently doing so on the basis of what he looks like (and you can't get much more personal than that). My post was a response, which was quite proportionate in the circumstances.
Knowing your a fair man, londonranger, I am sure once you have seen the post I refer to you will have at least as strong words of condemnation for finney
I use this site and unlike others I don't like to assume there are double standards always at work (ie its fine to attack someone if you disagree with them, but not on if they are in the same camp). I hope my faith is not blind

You know the one that dug out my daughter and even posted as her. Aldo you never had an issue with Funky trying to get me a kicking in the green by a group of lads so i have no issue in what i say to the fella. Now also you making jokes and digs on a thread about a man who beats woman is also not good almost as good as when as a director of the club you called people mongs on message boards that too was very unwise. Not knowing what people look like I've no idea if it's an attack or not.
I assume you people know each other, what you look like, so only you know. You have been feuding for years and it's bloody boring. None of it is relevant to whether we courted King or not.

I think that many of you on here and others have done a good job expressing your feelings of disgust, quite rightly, towards the mere prospect of being linked to this pr!ck and maybe.... just maybe it filtered through. If I was a betting man and knowing what NW is like, I would say that YES there was truth in the initial story when it broke.
