"LUTON Town manager Richard Money has confirmed he will offer trialist Dan Walker a permanent deal.....
The future doesn't appear so bright for fellow trialist Stefan Bailey, who has now been at the club since the start of pre-season.
The former QPR and Ebbsfleet man was withdrawn at half time during the 3-0 defeat at Alfreton Town on Saturday and may find his future lies elsewhere.
Money continued: "Stefan hasn't done enough for us at the moment to offer him a contract.
"We've got to be very mindful of the fact that the ridiculous rules are that if we signed him on a short-term contract, and we didn't renew it after August, he couldn't play for anyone until January.
"We're maybe looking at a week-to-week thing with him.
"I think his agent is going to try and find him another club, but until that happens he wants to carry on playing and training with us.
"He feels he's got more to offer, so we'll see where that one goes, but we've got to be careful that we don't block the path of people like Godfrey Poku. If Stefan wants to stay that's fine and we'll keep giving him the opportunity."
Luton continue their pre-season campaign at home to Scottish Premier side Kilmarnock on Friday night where they will be unveiling their new away kit for next season.
And Money urged supporters to fill out Kenilworth Road, adding: "I really hope everybody comes on Friday and I think it will be a proper game.
"Kilmarnock will be a little bit cut and thrust and it should be a little bit more of a high intensity game.
"I'd like to think we get a very good crowd as hopefully people go away from the Liverpool game and say we've got a good team developing and want to come and watch."
