I'm not really especially disappointed that they haven't spent more. I never liked the "Moneybags" moniker.
And I think they have spent millions on players and wages.
But I have been surprised that they haven't spent better; Paid wages better; done the long contracts; put their faith in Paladini to find players; and/or their own ability to bring in players. That has surprised me.

the biggest failing for me has been the number of signings. You can only put out a squad of sixteen for a game. Far better to have spent the money on a fewer higher calibre players than to overload the place with quality little different to what was already on offer.

Please with initial January 2008 spree, and appointments of LDC and Paulo Sousa, but everything has gone a bit strange this month...

Was truly gutted when we appointed Dowie but very happy with Sousa and overall pleased with the signings. One disappointment for me baring in mind the owners said we are a long term plan is the lack of investment in our youth setup. We need an academy and everything that goes with it and it really should be a priority.

Beat me to that one zed.
Overall though, you have to be pleased.
We're looking up, not down and we are not staring at administration.
Simple I know but it is that simple.

Not too pleased to be honest, I feel they have tried to do things their way without knowing what works and ignoring advice and feelings. Ok their money but in my veiw not their right! Hopefully this is changing, with it us 'the stake holders' more involved. Only time will show if this is to be but signs are now more possitive. Whist we are no experts we do no what we as fans/customers/consumers want, what we can afford, where we draw a line but over all we want QPR to succeed and will do all we can to help that and that includes helping our 'investors' to do the same! Once they really listen I will be pleased!

hoopsofessex. Spot on. I thought when the new board took over that they had a plan and would have the right structure in place to bring in the quality that we hoped for. Unfortunately most of their tactics and decisions smacks of them not really having a clue what they're doing. All in all with the money they have spent on players transfers and salaries, the increase in season tickets, moving fans around, the lack of quality on the pitch. It's been a disappointment.

On the positive side about Briatore et al: You see some of these Chairmen at other clubs, and you (or at least I) say "Thank God, they're not at QPR."

Very pleased with most aspects.
I like the fact that we are not facing Administration I like the fact that spending has been moderate (do not want to be like Man City -- that is crazy-sh*t and a disaster waiting to happen). I like the appointment of Soussa I like the fact that we are now a club looking up the league at the division above. I like the way the defense seems to have gelled
I am not sure about the quality of the actual players we've brought in. We seem to have shed loads of midfielders, when what we need is someone to partner Dex up front. Bottom line is we are just not scoring enough goals. Not pleased about the ticket price debacles. Not pleased about the new logo, which is much too fooofy for a football club.
Overall,I'm pleased
