I saw the Rowdies play once...
A novel idea they had was to give every fan a card, perhaps 12" by 12", read on one side and green on the other. The idea was that when the crowd saw something they liked, they held up the green side (home team goals, etc) (and the stand looked green), and vice-versa (fouls, etc) with the red side.
Cutesie, I know, but it was memorable...

A lot of people have the day off here to celebrate. I am British and always will be even if I become a citizen so not that fussed. I am going to play golf in an hour or so under a baking hot Colorado sun. Give me good old-fashioned British rain any day.
