Purely optional. There is no necessity for "New Posters Introducing Themselves" But if you're new to this board; and you want to post but are hesitant to just jump in:
A few potential ice-breaking message board topics...But feel free to post your own:
- How long have you been a QPR supporter?
- Which was your first game?
- Where are you from?
- What do you think of (choose one): Gianni Paladini/Flavio Briatore/Ian Holloway/Ian Dowie?
- Are we in danger of selling our soul?
- And that golden perennial: Who was better: Marsh or Bowles?
Bottom line: If people decide to post, this will become a vibrant messageboard. If they choose not to, then so be it!

1.Over 35 years 2. We won 1-0 - can't remember who it was against, think it was Palace. 3. London 4. Flavio - Impressed with the way he's come in and has sorted things out, club is much more stable under him - shame about the ticket prices. 5. Possibly - it worries me a bit but it's a better situation than we were in a couple of years ago. 6. Difficult - but it's Bowles for me.

Since I was 8 years old.
Arsenal away.
London, Stanmore
I believe that Gianni Paladini will go down in the history of the club as a fanastic Chairman and a man that saved QPR.
No QPR is a fantastic club with great fans, many fans like to moan about everything and anything.
I saw neither play but have met both.
I'm going to say Stanley I think he took us to the next level but are both superstars.
For what its worth I really like Cookie at the moment and think that Kevin Gallen did a great job carrying on the tradition of the 10 shirt.

- How long have you been a QPR supporter?
Well, I'm 30 now and, although I cannot actually remember my first game I think I was about 4 or 5 co, circa 25 years
- Which was your first game?
See above!
- Where are you from?
Originally born in Sipson about a 5 minutes walk from the training ground but have lived in Shepherds Bush and then Ealing for most of my adult life
- What do you think of (choose one): Gianni Paladini/Flavio Briatore/Ian Holloway/Ian Dowie?
I dont think Briatore understands football or it's fans
- Are we in danger of selling our soul?
Yes
- And that golden perennial: Who was better: Marsh or Bowles?
Never had the pleasure of seeing either play but, I'll have to go with my Dad's opinion and opt for Rodney

- How long have you been a QPR supporter? I was born an R - Which was your first game? QPR v Everton 1974 - Where are you from? Ladbroke Grove - What do you think of (choose one): Gianni Paladini/Flavio Briatore/Ian Holloway/Ian Dowie? Ian Holloway- some good moments but the football was horrible - Are we in danger of selling our soul? Yes - And that golden perennial: Who was better: Marsh or Bowles? Too young to have seen Rodney. Bowles is the most talented player I have ever seen at Loftus Road

1. 20years 2. QPR v Liverpool in 1986 - can't remeber the score, all i can remember was the noise, the atmosphere, the number of people, and the ball zipping off the plastic pitch. 3. From Surbiton 4. Flavio - despite all the bad press that he's getting at the moment, i do think that he is committed to the team - i have being suprised at the number of games that he has being to, both home and away. People are getting carried away with the expectations that are being heaped upon the team. We have still come an awfully long way since last year, but still have a long road to walk 5. I don't think that we will sell our soul - of course we will pick up new fans, but the core of the club will always stay the same because players come and go as do boards; the one constant at a club are its fans. 6. Am afraid that i'm a bit too young to say on that one

- How long have you been a QPR supporter?
Since 1977
- Which was your first game?
QPR vs. Luton March 22nd 1980 (2-2)
- Where are you from?
NW8 (now W5)
- What do you think of (choose one): Gianni Paladini/Flavio Briatore/Ian Holloway/Ian Dowie?
Paladini - absolutely love him. SAVED OUR CLUB (wish he had a better name as the wife isn't interested in calling our first Gianni!).
- Are we in danger of selling our soul?
We are changing, for the better, though with high prices for tickets, this will drive out some fans who are as much as QPR as the next man, so we will lose some of our past, which is not good. We have to survive in the real world of high cost football though and the new owners are really businessmen before being actual QPR supporters, so yes some of our soul has been lost. The real question is: Is the price we are paying worth it? At the moment, NO! Ask me again in 4 years time and I will probably say Yes, but without all our fans that success will not taste as good as it could have in an ideal world (as I put my arm round the Champions League trophy!)
- And that golden perennial: Who was better: Marsh or Bowles?
Never saw either play in the flesh, so on the pitch, I do not know. Off the pitch and in my lifetime, Stanley Bowles is a true Rangers hero and Rodney Marsh is a big mouth plonker, with absolutely nothing of substance or intelligence to say, who came back to this club in a PR stunt to deflect the fans anger towards our then chairman, forcing our manager out, and leaving us in a much worse situation after he picked up his final cheque as 'Sporting Director' (or whatever), before running off without so much as a thank-you.
QPR FC 4 LIFE.

hello all. been a ranger since i can remember. first game was against crystal palace. dont remember when, just that it was very cold and my dad said never bringing u again. and to top it off ian wright scored to win it for palace Berkshire born and breed. although mums side of family all from the bush. when people ask who is your favourite all time player i always say Ian Holloway. used to love his bulldog attitude on the pitch with Wilkins pulling the strings. shame how things ended but it was good for a while. No as i never saw either of them play except on videos i would have to say Wegerle was better than both!

#1 Fifty years.
#2 SOUTHAMPTON FA Cup 1958 still have the prog my father bought 4d.
#3 Goldhawk Rd
#4 Briatore is sorting the club out that has been in a mess for far too long.
#5 I hope not.
#6 They were both great. Rodney playing in lower divisions with players, some of them who were not the most talented but who had great heart. Stanley who played in such a talented wonderful side at the top of there game.

Hi I am 41 originally from Holloway, North London
Been a Rangers fan since the end of the 70s
First time i saw QPR they lost 5-1 at Highbury to Arsenal, thier crazy fans kept singing even though they were getting stuffed. So i went to Loftus road a few times under Docherty and became a semi-regular on the Loft(I found the Loft a little dingy with the Low ceiling) and ended up being a regular in the paddock by the Venables era, for me this was a fantastic era that i am still waiting for QPR to repeat, During Venners time i would travel to most away games as well (Exepting Crewe, carlisle and other scottish towns)Joke) Lost heart when Venables left and gradually attended less and less games untill i moved from London and stopped all-together
As for Flavio i have mixed feelings....Fantastic our team is out of its long financial nightmare but he seems to say one thing and do another as far as QPR is concerned, he wanted us promoted and playing with the big boys then hires Dowie... For me that is totally contradictory
I missed the Marsh and Bowles era the best i saw for QPR was Sir Les in my opinion

Remember Reg Allen getting off 662 Trolleybus near Jubilee Clock harlesden and racing for autograph. My all time Hero (hence my nickname). Hot roast chestnuts after game about 5pm on a dreary november evening and the smell better when we won. stacks of one page post war programs for 3p. Standing on terrace and loving it. Coming back home after many years away and getting a tour of the dressing room and allowed to cross the white line on to the pitch arranged by daphne. Catching a ball in ellerslie road stand and throwing it back to the Crab (ray wilkins.) . Watching him draw entire ManU team to the right as he cracked a left footer into back of net past their S. african goalie whose name I forgot. etc etc

Error in my memories. It was Liverpool drawn over by Wikins and the goalkeeper was Buce Grobbelar.

- How long have you been a QPR supporter? Since 1967
- Which was your first game? QPR home to Millwall. August 1971 1-1 watched from the Loft
- Where are you from? Kingston - now resident in Essex
- What do you think of (choose one): Gianni Paladini/Flavio Briatore/Ian Holloway/Ian Dowie?
Of course they are all transient stars in the QPR firmament ! Of these, Ollie shines brightest; somehow he singlehandedly - with nothing more than sheer charisma, energy, wit and cunning - dragged this club up from the mire. A triumph of the Common Man, who else could bring W London to a halt on a Friday rushhour with an opentop bus parade for finishing second in Division Three? What does it matter if he couldn't hack it near the top? Alec Stock's greatest QPR triumphs were in Div 3. If we start the Ipswich 'statue' thing in W12, Ollie will be there alongside Jim Gregory. - Are we in danger of selling our soul? Faustian pact already signed, sealed and delivered, lets enjoy the ride before the fall
- And that golden perennial: Who was better: Marsh or Bowles? Can't split 'em, won't split 'em. However, non-believers of all ages always quote 'Bowles' as a Pavlovian reaction to the name QPR
