From a kind person who sent me this email....Now obviously I can't vouch for anything, but interesting!
"Hi There
I called the PR department today and they said that Quashie and Bentremain at the club, they are up for contention just not making the team.
They have contracts up to the end of the year and thats all hehad to say.
He also went on to say that Warnock has changed the policy at the clubfor talking about injured players and as a result has scrapped the physio section from the programme.
Hope that helps."

If they were in contention they would be playing in all the reserve games Shirly?
How many times have they played and how much do we think they've cost the club so far?

Cost far too much for starters. Even priskin is at least earning his money. simpson & taarabt have earned their over the course of the season.

I am nonplussed!! The deal which he stiched up with Gianni, I think that Quashie is "Bent". Now that is a mystery.

He was definitely very vocal in urging surport for Briatore

In defence of Bent, albeit a thin one, he pointed out to Warnock that we had too many loaners on team for a match, which I think we won? That could have cost us a result,so maybe thats enough?

I see some still asking re Quashie...So how much credence in the club's reported response?!
As for who signed him? Come on Gianni must take complete responsibility.

Remembering Niges interviews on the Offy, might I suggest that where ever Flav is then Nigel will be very, very close behind.
I think the only chance we have of seeing Nigel in the hoops again will probably involve a proctoscope and forceps......

Of course you'd think for someone superstitious enough to get rid of our Black Cat Mascot, wouldn't want to sign someone who'd been relegated with club after club after club!

Tell me again - why did we sign these 2? I have never been impressed by Quashie, so I never understood why we bought this guy. Well maybe I do - I would love to see how much was paid in agent fees and if it was linked to you know who?
The Bent move was even more bizarre. We already had too many loan players at the club at the time, while his goal scoring record record was abysmal. So why did somebody feel the need to bring this complete waste of space down here - are agent fees involved here as well?

I think if the Aussie Rugby League investigated our club Phil, they would find all sorts of things that would make the Melbourne Storm look like angels.

Hi Andy RL isn't big in SA (far from it) but even the news of what the Storm did, and their subsequent punishment, has made the sporting headlines down here.
Why did QPR get into big trouble nearly a decade ago? Plenty of reasons but one of them was the fact that we bought & bought & bought players, with salaries to match, but whose contribution to QPR was so minimal it was scary.
We are making the exact same mistakes again - over 50 players in less than 4 years, plus all those loan players, and what exactly have they contributed to QPR? Partially bankrupt us again.
All these fans of Paladini & Briatore need to open their eyes and smell the coffee - and the Mittals need to do the same thing quite frankly.
I honestly think it is time to call in for a forensic audit of QPR's finances, with the objective of looking at all these transfers, all agent fees that were paid out and all these other loan schemes.
I still see no footballing reasons for these 2 to come to QPR - so why & how did they end up here? Somebody made money on it that's for sure.
