In my view it can only be Dan nutstu. The worst first touch in the football league and yet worshiped by some R's. EDIT Just noticed swearchecker kicked in and changed my nomination of Big Dan.

This century : Arthur 'fingers' Gnohere - highly rated at Burnley, highly rubbished at QPR. Did a runner, Arthur G'not here'
Last century : Mark Hateley; overrated Rangers to Rangers transfer about 1995/6 time. What was all that about ? Massed puffed cheeks of frustration every game at W12
or poss. Don Rogers, Palace cast off; highly rated for a goal once v Arsenal - we gave them Venables in exchange! A rare Jago brainfade; What was he thinking? A handful of games in 2 seasons, never cracked it in the 'good' team. I think we got Peter Eastoe for him eventually. Which was nice.

Not quite fair about Don Rogers - although we did give Venables AND our defender Ian Evans for Rogers. But the not fair part: He WAS a great player at Swindon and Crystal Palace. Someone who would have graced QPR in his earlier days.

Mike Sheron. Complete waste of money. Should never have bought him. Should have got Clive Mendoca for a third of the price.
