BBC - Hull happy to let Windass leave Windass has started just one league game this season Dean Windass has been told he can leave Hull after finding his first-team chances limited at the KC Stadium. Windass has not featured since being substituted at half-time during Hull's Boxing Day defeat by Manchester City. The 39-year-old striker had cast doubt over his future at Hull by claiming manager Phil Brown has not spoken to him since before Christmas. Leeds United, Oldham Athletic and Hartlepool United are said to be interested in the former Bradford man. Windass claimed he has not heard of any interest from clubs in the current transfer window. "I've heard nothing from the club or my agents about anyone making an offer for me," he said. Windass, scored the winning goal in Hull's 1-0 Championship play-off final victory over Bristol City last May but has been left despondent by developments this season. "I'm very frustrated and have no idea what is happening with my situation," he said. "Our boss made a number of changes to the side and gave some fringe players a chance to impress, but sadly I wasn't one of them. "The manager hasn't spoken to me for three weeks. I'm not saying that to try to grab a headline - he's got other priorities like trying to run a football club - but simply to show how uncertain things are for me."

The only people in the Bush who'd be happy to see him would be Cooke's who's trade has taken a dive since Gallen left.

I guess we missed out!
BBC - Oldham seal Windass loan signing Veteran Windass enjoyed a fine season for Hull in 2007-08 Oldham Athletic have signed veteran striker Dean Windass, 39, on loan from Hull for the remainder of the season.
Windass, whose goal in the play-off final last May earned Hull their Premier League place, is available for Saturday's match against Hartlepool.
As well as two spells with the Tigers, the much-travelled Windass has played for Oxford United, Aberdeen, Bradford, Middlesbrough and Sheffield United.
He needs two more goals to reach the significant mark of 200 in the league.
