Look at the World's Finances Look at how Madoff fooled all those really smart businessmen Look at all the other businessmen who have been in charge of other clubs Look at various clubs who over reached and ended in big trouble. Before feeling safe that "Briatore and Mittal and Ecclestone are businessmen" know what they're doing. Maybe Briatore et al know what they're doing. And we won't find out expenses/profits and losses for this year for another year But our current finances: Our debt must be ever bigger. We've paid maybe seven million pounds in transfer fees since the takeover (maybe more)... Those reports of vast wages we're paying.... Ground Improvements/Boxes/Giant TV etc Balanced against that: Increased ticket prices.... and the new sponsorship (but much of the sponsorship is predicated on our place in the Premiership) Oh and 150K saved a year from ABC Loan

But, as a certain someone likes to point out, we still exist as a football club, something we should be grateful for...and well I am. I think the key to long term success at the moment is keeping the Mittals on. Maybe they even succeed in building "the QPR brand" globally. However, personally, I think they are going about that the wrong way, they should start with building a strong local community around QPR - opposite to what they are doing now (price hikes etc.) and then when success on the field comes try the "global brand" thing.

True, but on the other hand it is the really super rich, like him, that usually comes out stronger from a crisis like this. It is an opportunity for them to buy even more of the competition and get even more dominant...

Thats right but thet have to find a financial plan that will move us up and over. Now clueless, buying rejects overpriced switching managers. But we should stabilize in first half off league which is best in last 3 years, but they could have done it with much less money. Thw world crash wil last years and thats why Brie doesnt want to move up for a while because the return on front end will be a losing one.
