So cant blame em. went to WATRB for rumors.. Hellguson didnt play because he was between contracts. Or he took a knock last week One size broke nose against Watford. Much criticism of teams performance. Especially R and Left backs and overall quality of play awful. More rumors about Legs wanted by three teams. Watson is not injured then he is then he is upset with us as we back off. time to replace Paulo one or two said. Remember this is all WATRbs posts but I await Report to wake up and see what he says.

First of all: Report does not sleep. ;D ( I've just been scouting for more moderators ) As for the WATRB...So many threads. And not clear what is actually happening; or why Helguson didn't play etc. But bottom line is: We didn't win what I thought was a very winnable cup tie. And forget the "Burnley beat x and y in the other cup. Not to mention the "get rid of the deadwood" posts - since "the deadwood" consists of players we've bought in the past 18 months! Good to see we spent 700K on a Championship Reserve fullback, who hasn't been able to get into the QPR team... To reiterate: Try scouting for players on the up. Now I understand that some of our people may not have the capacity to actually go to a lower division game and spot something in a player that no one else can see. That's why there are great scouts out there. Let's spend some of the money on the scouting and youth development programme.

Helguson allegedly had a knock.
Seems today was used, wrongly or rightly, as an "exercise" to sniff out how wasn't good enough. The "exercise" was controlled to ensure we still put on a performance...which didn't happen.
All allegedly of course.
I think PS is having a wake-up call re the quality of our current squad.
Allegedly FB missed the last 20 minutes due to getting bored...

The other claim made on the other boards, is that Helguson/Routledge hadn't been registered in time to play.

Sousa said he was injured (or something close to that) Routledge was only being unveiled as he was not available for this game, that was on the official site, prior to the game.
