Seriously: Why do think Paladini was kept on after the change. - He's not really kept on... - They think he's done a good job - They think he can do a good job - They think he's popular with fans? - He's only here for a brief interim period - They don't really know him - He has an iron-cast contract [EDIT: If you believe WATRB's Pete, Gianni will be at QPR till 2013! qprreport.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=11641&page=1

They must believe he is good at his job, and maybe he is and we just don't know the full story.
These guys have serious money so I doubt the Iron-cast contract would be an issue.

I think that the new board are good and decent people, and don,t understand Paladini, or being an Italian that he is a beleiver of the Machiavelli principle. Men are so simple and so much inclined to obey immediate needs that a deceiver will never lacks victims for his deceptions. Machiavelli.

Seriously: Why do think Paladini was kept on after the change. There has been no real change apart from a bit of musical chairs in the board room. He has the same board to answer to as he did at the start of the year and not once have I ever seen or heard a board member comment on Palidini in a negative way so what makes anyone think that they are unhappy with Palidini in any way? The plan is still to get to the Premiership as cheap as possible and that will involve a high turnover of players as we continue to play the transfer market. It's also hard to comment on Palidini's last few years at the club, apparently he was not responsible for anything (apart from doing really well in securing the services of Bent, Priskin, Qhashie, Hill and Ikelme for no money : and we are in the dark absurdly as to what exactly he does now. Better communication by the club sure is necessary, nice of them to communicate that message to me, but what exactly has changed to warrant the dismissal of Pallidini, considering the owners have remained the same from when they first bought the club which included Pallidini? The question for me assumes too much of the current owners, which obviously to me is wrong and therefore does not stand.

Perhaps they felt it would appear too disruptive to remove him, also if they are away of a certain place and leakage then there could be further attempts to fracture the fan base even more than it is.
He is no longer sporting director, he has "resumed" the role of chairman of the football club, a role he had during Briatore's chairmanship that was deemed irrelevant by the fact that we now had a holding company with a board of directors.
If there was truth in the fact that he had a three year contract that will expire at the end of the season will it not. Perhaps then he will be given a fanfare and thanked for his efforts, who knows.
Only time will tell but I am sure these guys aren't blissfully unaware of all that's gone on, also as yet, we do not know for certain what percentage the orange donut still holds.

I think there is a lot of merit to that as well. It's still too early to tell really with any certainty as to what the club's structure will be like both off and on the pitch come next August. Contracts expire in the summer, the new chairman has only just assumed control and seems to be more guiding us thru the next few months before he can make his mark on the club, sensibly. The one appointment they had to make immediately they have done so and it is a far less riskier choice from previous and an immediate improvement from Magilton onwards. That does actually speak volumes as far as achievements are concerned in comparison to Flabio and is a good appointment considering our position and current reputation. Just have to ride the next 2 months out and see what happens come next August, though I'm a lot more confident now than I was recently, thanks to the new chairman and I hope this is a sign of things to come for the short term and that also in the summer we will changes for the long term benefit as well, at all levels of the club. Decent start though.

One doesnt know really what his situation is, but I would hope that he was told clearly and emphatically what his role was going to be.
