Nottingham Evening Post/QPR Report - Camp keen to win over fans Robert Earnshaw has quickly established himself as a hit with Forest fans, despite spending last season at local rivals Derby County. Now Lee Camp plans to do the same after signing on loan from QPR yesterday. But given the Reds' current plight, it matters little that he is a former Ram who made 97 appearances for Derby after coming through the ranks. If he can help lift the Colin Calderwood's men out of the bottom three, he will soon be a fans' favourite. Camp, who is set to make his debut against Ipswich tonight, said: "It is a good opportunity for me. "I played every minute of every game at QPR last season, but lost my place this year. "That is just football. A new manager brings a new direction and new ideas. "Coming to Forest was pretty much out of the blue." Camp is confident that with games coming in quick succession, he can help play a part in lifting Forest out of trouble. He said: "I have been in this position before. We had a season at Derby where we were fighting relegation. "And at QPR last year we were the last Football League team to win a game." Camp was on the bench against Forest at the weekend as they lost 2-1 to QPR. He said: "Forest had enough chances to win." Nottingham Evening
...and to be honest I think that with Camp in goal they probably would have!

Its a shame about Lee he kept us in alot of games last season. But he is more of a shotstopper than a rounded keeper. Cerny was awesome for spurs while there and with time i think will be for us. I think Lee is a great choice for the number 2 but i think he wants first team football. Good luck to him.

Lee Camp should have been given the opportunity to start this season as No. 1. He saved us many points last season and didn't deserve to treated like this.best of luck Lee.
