There seems to some confusion and I will try to explain once again.
This board is no different, it copies the contents to the board and that's what I have asked all WATRB members to do also.
I ask all members and visitors to copy & paste the article to the thread but STATING where the information has come from, that has not changed from the first day of launch, however it seems to be a problem the last few months.
I see the link above and it's QPR related and it can't be copy & pasted to another board or site otherwise it would have been done.
If people have a problem with that then they don't have to post, it's a fair and very valid point.

Oh and Merry Christmas everyone

I've never stopped Report from posting, he decided to stop.
What I've said is that you can't start a thread and put a direct link up, you can copy & paste the article to the post but let everyone know where the information came from, so if it was the BBC then let everyone know.
Mike's blog is all copy & pasted but he does let everyone know the sauce. If he put up the article on our thread and then let us know it's from he's blog, I don't mind if he don't want to let people know it from the BBC or SKY, I don't have a problem with it where as many other sites do.
By having the widget on my site, am I not already sending people to he's site, if we had a problem with people linking don't you think I would have left it out?

Thanks...Well I think this sort of explains/clarifes the WARRB rules better than was done previously. Although of course almost every post on every site, could be copied/pasted onto another site.
- I would say much/most of QPR Report blog is copy/pasted. But not all. Certainly not from one place. Is for example a compilation of Paladini statements made over a two year period, a "copy/paste?" I'd say not really.
- Of course, I'm sure you probably recall at the start of the WATRB, Pete went far beyond just copy/pasting on other sites saying from WATRB. He specifically went to the dot.org and Rivals saying "come to WATRB)

Pete's not done that for a very long time and Pete didn't understand how things work regarding having your own site, we all have rules to respect one another and Pete is learning. If someone posts up an article from Dot.org to WATRB, I expect that person to copy the contents to our site but I'd also expect that person to let everyone know where that information came from, so you would write From Dot.org. What is wrong with that? WATRB have done many things but other sites will not put up a link to that, they will talk about us but never say our name. In fact I don't mind that and it's a good thing in my eyes and tells me that WATRB is doing well. My goal is to work with other QPR sites not against them as many are trying to do.

MY goal is to have a completely open and cross/cutting linkages between the different sites. (Which is why I pretty much have copied links of interest from most of the other QPR sites) And not to ignore "good" QPR stuff of interest because it's been posted on, or obtained by another site. I'm sure you'd agree with that Myu! (But on the other hand: Not to just copy/paste - or take a concept - without attribution

By the way it's worked and you know what I'm talking about. I was wondering why you stopped posting but I thought you understood that you could post on WATRB with the article with it stating where it come from, which means if it's from your blog then that's fine. You must have thought I meant the sauce where you get it from. If that's what I meant I wouldn't have you blog or others on the site. I apologise for the confusion.
