ok Flop is a little strong...but whose potential has been shown to be limited...Who might very well be very good for the Championship? And don't come cheap.
Or... should we be buying Championship players - and gems from the lower divisions as we used to? (Of course that would require a scouting network actually able to "uncover" a gem)
Option III of course is what we've also done with some of our overseas signings and loans.

We should have moved for Diego Tristan, available on a free, free agent and would have preferred blue and white.
Shouldn't have let wetspam usurp us, he was ideally suited for us and our owners and current loan players.
Bloody shame....
That's the type I would prefer anyway.

Tristan is a very good shout and definately the type of player we should be going for.
I think he is only 32 and would have done well in the CCC, how is he doing at West Ham?

Mancienne would be a really good buy I think, although it's not exactly a controversial viewoint.
Reading seem to have a great scouting system. They unearth gems from no where (well, Ireland and the lower leagues).
