I think we will still be in for the two Aston Villa players before Friday but would be surprised if we signed any more than these two. We need to offload 3-4 in the next few days now, Bonne, Shodipo, Niko, George Thomas are the possibles and a few loans to lesser players. I donât get the goalkeeper talk.

I guess it all comes down to whatâs a good chance. Dykes goal to game ratio of late is something like 2 from 18 matches. Iâm sure he we score a blinder today.

A team like this looks pretty good on paper. As long as it worked the way it looked and we get that forward to tuck some goals away. A few clean sheets the other end. No reason with 40 games left we couldnât push for top 10 with this group.

Unbelievable. I like Beale, early days and all that. However, I really liked Warburton too but he just kind of got stuck in a rut. I hope Beale doesnât end the same way Warburton did in a years time. Let the guy try and do what he needs, back him if he feels the players he wants are are not good enough or suited to his style of play, thatâs all we can do. We all know deep down thereâs 3-4 players that should have left the club 1-2 years ago and reasons beyond me we have kept them.

Thomas will be one of the first out I feel, I think itâs clear MB doesnât Rate him. Iâm expecting Thomas and Bonne to be sold or loaned, possibly Dozell. Johansen not sure if will be retained. Expect Nico and Shodipo to be loaned or sold and Armstrong maybe loaned and also a couple of youngsters.
I think it could be extreme as it appears there was going to be 5 incomings and around four more to follow, we know two of these are the Villa two players. Somehow we have to free up funds.

Leader, thatâs why he wants him. Balogun definately fits the bill, if he is natural leader and commander of defence! I rate our duo Dunne-Dickie very highly, but neither of them is a natural leader - least not yet. And we definately need one! Last season it was Ball who kept everyone on their toes and now we have missed such player dearly. However, not totally convinced we should change back to three central defenders, but if that is what Beale wants - then that´s the way.
One thing I was to overly happy about, did anyone see the latter piece from WLS sport with Beale saying he wasnât happy with the midfield , thatâs a bit early to say this surely and in public ? Was he singling out Dozell and possibly Johansen for a slow start as a way of offloading ? we know he praises Willock , Chair and Field.

You canât really complain about signing one player of 34 if heâs a leader and experienced. All our other signings have been youngsters. You need a bit of leadership. Everybody forget the year we signed Hill and Derry, remember how that worked and I hated the idea at the start. Reckon Balogun is a good addition, someone Beale knows well. Now letâs clear a few out to get a decent striker.

Maybe Warburton told the board and Ferdinand that some of the youth are not good enough. Maybe Beale started telling them exactly the same think, then it finally sunk in 3-4 of them need to move on for good as they are not good enough . This has been exposed with the injuries we have had.

I must have read 200 messages about this guy in the last 1/2 hours , all Rangers fans and everything good about him as a player and person. Iâm fine with this signing, the only bad thing about it was , it wasnât a bloody Forward.

It's trolley dash time! I agree with the analysis about what is wrong and what is needed, but if we do sign up to 5 as suggested, then it is hard to take communications seriously. We have been told that we cannot afford incomings without outgoings first - is someone going? Working through the individual positions: Keeper -If Archer is now second choice and Archer is fit again, our two youngsters need experience and game time. so an out of contract third choice keeper whilst Walsh and Mahoney go out, should be self funding. Central Defender - I think Balogun being a free agent will probably happen - but I doubt he will be low wages - even at 34. I don't think that Gubbins loan will cover this cost, always assuming there is interest in him. Left back - I suspect a youth loan, not expensive, it worries me that Hamalainen is still in the squad - perhaps another loan for him to the otherside of the world. Central Midfield - Tim Iroegbunam's name has come up several times, at 18, he seems to be quite a talent - George Thomas loan unlikely to cover this one. Striker - I really hope that the club is not falsely raising expectations with Archer. Would Bonne's departure cover the cost of the loan? Perhaps we do have departures lined up dependent on signings - perhaps it does all balance, but we may well be looking at 6 loans in a week's time. Beale does not seem to worry about making statements and then totally contradicting them. We now need experience (34 year old) and loans that benefit parent clubs / no possibility of purchase. We also were going to do early business - now it is a trolley dash. It can be healthy to change minds, Warburton was said to be stubborn. But until next Friday - not sure what I believe at the moment. I thought Archer was still injured but could this be sign Seny could be on the way. But I would ask why did we let Marshall go (before Beale was on board) and now we need a look alike replacement. I can see a way that we might balance the books for this season but it will require more players going out than coming in or at least one good fee sale - all in a short space of time. I would think things have been going on behind the scenes but as usual we know that the window only gets into full swing in the last few days. How much of this is Beale changing his mind, or how much he has learnt that the squad is not what it said on the tin when he took the job or how much is it a case of the powers above deciding to back him or maybe it's way to lay it on the table so he can say I did not get what we needed so don't blame me or maybe he knows we have a couple of long term injuries not yet announced - Amos??? I will only believe anything when it happens and it looks like Balogun will happen - if not too expensive a good move as we have some talent at CB but all comparatively young and inexperienced. We have seen before what senior centre backs can bring to the team and if this stops the leakage of give away goals I'll be happy. Jordan Archer is no longer injured he was on the bench versus Rotherham.

Certainly looks like we might sell one of Willock, Chair, Dieng, Dickie, Dunne between now and 1st Sept. If we can hang onto all these 5 , I will be over the moon . If we keep these five and strengthen we will have good group of players.
If that means Bonne, Dozell ,, George Thomas, Kakay , Shodipo, Niko get sold or loaned I will not be overly concerned at all.
Hope we keep Johansen.

Balogun looks like happening, 34, good to get a bit of experience , maybe we can finally offload a couple of players that were not good enough.

Wow sounds like he knows what he wants, wonder if he gets backed. Looks like Bonne and Thomas and Dozell might all be gone ? Not sure we need another keeper surely.

Iâm hoping Beale works out for us long term, if we get a decent forward we can be a mid table team with ease , just need to put some of these chances away. The amount of chances against Sunderland,Blackpool and Rotherham was like crazy but 2 points to show for it.

Burnley as well as Watford want Archer, not sure we can compete with them. Reckon we will get another midfielder Iroegbunam

Talk of Tim Iroegbunam being allowed on loan from Villa . Surely another midfielder can not be for us, unless Chair is being sold so we get this loan and a Striker ?

Archer used as a 2nd half sub for Ings on 83 minutes. Villa win 4-1 at Bolton. Watford lose 0-2 at home MK Dons, not sure how many Watford first team

How can it be fair when the top 6-8 Prem Clubs will never get relegated so can basically can blatantly do what they want. Yes we do have rich owners but so do many clubs these days, some would still tread carefully. The gaps are getting wider and Covid didnât help either.

The only difference between Forest and Us is when TF did it our average age player bought was 40 So they have a better chance than us, in fact every Club that has got promoted since us had a better chance than us to be fair.
