Great to get back to back wins, not there yet but huge 3 points. If we can get two more wins from our 6 games, we set Huddersfield 4 wins and a draw from theirs to overtake us. If we can beat Sheff Weds and get one other win from final 5 matches they would have to win all five of theirs which we know won’t happen. Keep it going Rangers, really proud of our performances under Marti.

Ideally if we can be more than 4 points off relegation before we play Hull Hull Preston Leeds and Cov is a tough rough in, so in an ideal position we could be say 6 points in from if the others. Birmingham have to play Hudderfield in the penultimate game, what a game that might be and of course they can’t both catch 3 points on us. Sheff Weds still have some tough games , Boro, Norwich, WBA away at ours etc. We just need to keep it going , I’m hoping for 4-5 points from Swansea Sheff Weds and Swansea and we MUST NOT lose to Sheff Weds , even a draw. Would probably be ok if we can beat Plymouth or Swansea

Fantastic effort, solid performance. What’s that 2 defeats in 12. Marti is God. Just need to keep it going for 7 matches. See if we can pinch a point at Swansea for a great Easter
Only downside today was Stoke winning but everything else good day for Hoops

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/68689629Ex-Renault Formula 1 boss and former Queens Park Rangers co-owner Flavio Briatore has undergone heart surgery to remove a benign tumour. The Italian, 73, said he has been discharged from hospital in Milan following the operation. Briatore said on Instagram the surgery had been "perfectly successful". "Following a routine check-up I underwent heart surgery because I had a benign mass which was removed with a minimal invasive procedure," he said. Businessman Briatore was managing director of Benetton when Michael Schumacher won the F1 drivers championship in 1994 and 1995. He was also in charge of Renault when Fernando Alonso also took the title in 2005 and 2006 but left amid the 'Crashgate' scandal. He has not held an official position in F1 since but has been present at grands prix in recent years. The Italian co-owned QPR between 2007 and 2010, having bought into the west-London club alongside Bernie Ecclestone and Lakshmi Mittal.

Lairds been playing quite a lot of their recent games and Roberts the last couple too. Yeap and those games just happen to be at the height of Brums slide down the table - co-incidence? Let’s hope so.

Agree with all of Ricky's comment above. As Dozell is on a loan I would have expected that we had a clause that he cannot play against us - unless we planted him on Brum to drag them down. Of the others a Sanderson header from a corner most likely. Roberts - will he even be fit to play and Laird may still be down the nightclub. Lairds been playing quite a lot of their recent games and Roberts the last couple too.

Seems to have been ages since the last match and waiting for Fridays one? After only twice in eleven games, will it be a bad thing for us? Bad timing for Rowett that’s for sure. Anyone nervous for the next 5 games in just 15 days? Good luck Rangers, final push now, do it for Marti. Yeah, apart from being boring, the international breaks really do upset the momentum. Teams playing well rarely carry on after the break, but when playing regularly the form can build – it is like starting a new mini-season after each break. Injured players target the break for their return, giving teams more options. Players go away with their country and pick up knocks, sometimes serious ones, and by definition, these can be the best players a team has. The harmony of the squad is disrupted through the call ups. Preparation for the next game for called up players, non-existent as they return so late, many are often rested for the first game. Rowett has said that he is yet to meet some of his top players. Owners decide to make managerial changes ahead of the fortnight, so clubs can return with the new manager bounce. Analysis of the opposition, sending scouts etc. is a big part of successful management today, but Marti has no idea who Rowett will select or to what formation. Rowett is a 4-4-2 man, but that is not how Birmingham have been setting up. So planning will be less effective – a key part of the new manager bounce! But perhaps the biggest impact is on the fanbase. Lose the game before the break, and drop into the relegation zone, and it is two long weeks to dwell and get miserable. A good victory and the message boards are quiet, and the optimism builds to an unrealistic level. Nervous going into the window, terrified when it is over. But a crucial scheduled Birmingham game will be by Friday a very nervy occasion. But I suspect Marti will be concentrating on our game more. Armstrong & Dykes highly unlikely to start. Frey leading the line. It’s certainly going to be interesting Ricky. Also we have the who will be scoring against Rangers day. Dozell, Roberts , Sanderson, Laird I just hope we come away with minimum a point.

Can’t understand how so many of these clubs are getting away with so much, crazy. No consistency whatsoever.

I thought 47-48 would be the magic number to stay up this year but realistically think it’s 50 now. If we get three wins and a draw from our last eight Sets the teams under us to get 4 wins from 8. Sounds achievable but you can bet your life one of these teams will get a couple of wins only I feel 50 points setting the others 51 to send us down will keep us up. We could do with minimum 6 points from these 4 relegation scraps, ideally 7.

Other results almost a perfect weekend Home losses for Stoke, Birmingham and Plymouth Away losses for Sheff Weds and Millwall today.
Draws for Blackburn and Huddersfield could only manage a draw with Rotherham.
Just Swansea winning.
8 games to go, 4 teams in the bottom 10, followed by 4 teams in the top 9.

With the other results today being pretty perfect for us today, A win would have been huge. Still a good point and 40 points on the board. At one point when Ainsworth was in charge I was questioning if we have 30 by the end of the season.
Need a Millwall loss tomorrow keep it as 2 from 8 will Swansea pulling away now

That was a really poor performance …. Second half we were non existent, Boro outplayed us. All that good work and a bad performance may put us back in the bottom three if Hudds and Birmingham pick up a point or more in their games in hand tomorrow and Tuesday. Need to get something at Sunderland now.

Hoping for some luck with the other games over the weekend. Even though our current form is 14 points over the last 8 games, Sheff Weds have taken 15 points from the last 8. We are both much better than all the rest of the pack.
Friday Sheff Weds v Leeds, need an away win for Leeds tonight
Saturday Blackburn Rovers v Plymouth Argyle , I guess draw Millwall v Birmingham City, I guess draw Preston v Stoke City , home win for Preston
Sunday Hudds v WBA , away win WBA Bristol City v Swansea City, Bristol win
