and we have never experienced the types of players that flav has brought us in our life. Generous man. like Generrosa Rossi. Fitz Hall,
Alberti, you name em. Household names by now. Bring us some more Papa. nigel Quashie? WE had him already. Ah but this time
we have had him completely rebuilt and rehabbed.

Amazing, if you'd asked the score I would have said 5-1. Went to the home game and the final, like Aitch, thanks Grandad. His friendship wth Gregory got us three tickets for the final. ;D

Probably my most electrifying experience as a supporter. With the second leg also remarkable. 0-0 at half-time suiting us nicely, Brum came out and lined up 7 red-shirted players on the half-way line at the kick-off of the second half, letting us know that:
(a) they were going for it, and
(b) they were desperate.
The spaces they left in their bewilderment and anxiety gave us a further 3 goals.
And they were riding high in the 2nd Division at the time. Mind you, Leicester, who we knocked out earlier, we 3rd in the top tier if I'm not mistaken, having just beaten Liverpool, the reigning Champions.

I was there at St Andrews. Great night!
I had been going since 1957 and I had never seen so many R's supporters at an away match in all my life!
