On the subject of Agyemang, has he really gotten a true chance to prove himself after De Canio left? He hasn't started an awful lot of matches has he? (which of course might be due to him not being good enough...)

(which of course might be due to him not being good enough...) I had high hopes for him after misgivings at his original purchase. He formed a great partnership with Vine who is great at slip a pass behind defenses for players to run onto. However his play has been pretty poor since LDC left or Vine was injured (take your pick at the root cause) and I can only remember one outstanding game he has last year against Wolves.

Pete, No matter how many times you tell a lie, it's still a lie. You made up that quote because your argument is weak and you are out of your depth.
Go back, read the thread and try again but this time stick to the facts.
This is what I posted:
A truly bizarre thread started by Pete!
Surely a Well done Jim would have been more appropriate for getting a result. Under pressure and with a terribly unbalanced squad further hampered by injuries to key players we scored 2, keft a clean sheet and came home with 3 points. A very good day at the office.
Why spoil it with this Pro GP agenda drivel? Every true QPR fan, person within the game and neutral aware of our situation can see what a woeful job GP is doing.
We have spent a fortune but still have to sell/loan out players in order to bring in an Arsenal youngster on loan while players who are clearly not good enough warm the bench and sit in the stands happy to collect huge pay cheques because we can’t offload them.
We sold our best leftback and top scorer without replacing them adequately in the summer and we’re paying more than half Helguson’s wages to play for a rival team. I could go on but I’d rather not think about it and ruin the after glow of such a good away win. The point is, there are half a dozen ‘fans’ who think GP is the messiah and by complete coincidence they happen to be personal friends of his, some not seen at Loftus Rd before his arrival a few years back. These self styled ‘Unusual Suspects’, WTF is that about?, have an agenda. They are loyal to Gianni Palladini and not the club putting there own interests and those of their friend before QPR.
WE ARE QPR, Who the fkin hell are you?

Okay, I'll rephrase it. Well done to Gianni for negiotiating to bring Simpson into the club. Will prove to be a valuable asset. I'd hope anyone who saw Watson play yesterday would add him to the list. I know it hurts and it must be killing some, but credit where credit is due . Okay, to criticise GP for bringing in One player that may not make it, but would be nice from time to time to congratulate him on ones that will. I hope we can all do that, as it benefits the club and means we can win more than loseBy the way, not to sure anyone Saw Borrowdale play, but he had a good game too. Roll On Barnsley. Roll On Barnsley.Er we have the small matter of beating Chelsea before that. And Pete have to say you are talking utter rubbish in these posts and if you ever need to find the point to guide you home you are fecked as you always miss it.

Pete is like a bear with a sire head. he has been shown up to be a hypocrite. He was trying to give it the biggun by saying people had written off Simpson and the strikers at the club. Making out he always had faith and believed in them etc etc. Then his bubble burst when he was found out to be lying. It took me all of 2 minutes to post the follwing on his thread. The first quote was takien from one his posts on Friday the second from a post a week ago
Pete's comment from Friday
"I'm not going berate Simpson and fans that do that, its unfair, but 5 goals so far in the league is not good enough. We need to get a top striker in, its tha simple.
My change of attitude stems from watching these 6 games and before the start I simply wanted to give them a chance and wanted to stick up for them.
What I have seen, indicates that we are simply not good enough up front."
Pete's comment from about a week ago
"this mid-table medoicrity shows we are not good enough"
The above was quotes taking from his postings.
Yet he chooses to ignore them. You really get the feeling that behind Pete's posting is GP telling him that he has to drum up support from people to make it look like he is doing a good job. At time WATRB feels like a fans survey for GP that Pete is carrying out. Only he has been told to make sure the survey gives praise to GP. When that doesn't happen Pete loses the plot trying to belittle people. Unfortunately he hasn't got the intelligence or no how to do it.

Some might believe that Mr. Paladini seems to think the (temporarily) popular thing to do is the right thing to do. Some might think that as you say, these questionnaires are designed to elicit fan responses to certain players (as if the response of a few fans is either representative, or even more important, the right way to go about signing players) Some might even think that when Pete repeatedly asks a question of me (Forget the scores of times he refuses to answer far more important questions: Sousa's alleged bung, for example). And I answer the question. And then Pete acts as if I answered it totally differently. What's going on. Some might wonder the motivation for this "onslaught." Not that Pete shouldn't feel completely free to offer his perspective re offering praise when (every now and then Paladini succeeds) even though Pete literally has NEVER criticized Paladini on anything. I genuinely mean this to be an open site. But it wasn't a point of view offered. But bang. bang. bang. bang. As for the "You and Indys should merge; you're the same" repeated comment. Well Pete's entitled to his view. It's obviously not going to happen. I wouldn't want it. Indys people wouldn't want it. And we have different views. One thing we do share in common. The people on both sites genuinely and long term supporters of QPR. And I'm certainly proud to have that in common with the people of the Indys site. However as I said, I personally think it would make far more sense for WATRB to officially become part of the QPR Official Site. And then the club leaks would be official. But then the club would have to take responsibility for some of the statements made. And this is part of an exchange as Pete went on and on and on about why I'm not commenting on games I'm not at "Listening to the game; Pete: You were impressed?? You listened to the game then?? QPR Report They sounded great! Pete So the answer is NO qprreport.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=6891&page=1

If the manager was left to bring in the players he wanted and do his job without interference there would be no need for Paladini and no need for this thread.

True, quite funny. But just to avoid this you, Report, could just have answered with a simple "yes, I did listen", I know you really should not have to, but sometimes you have to go out of your way to be 100% clear. Just to avoid someone using what you say for their own purpose/interpretation.

Given that Pete is not at least officially in charge of all QPR messageboards, I think I'm safe Meanwhile I'd note that for the past six hours+ there's been a thread on WATRB linking and commenting on KLR's post made here earlier today. The thread Initiated by Isleworth - (I DID APOLOGIZE FOR CALLING a MAMZER) with follow-up comments by Pete and Myu among others. On the bright side: At least the poster actually attributed his post to this site.

I just read that thread, on the WATRB board they seem to take delight in making fun of other QPR-supporters. But I guess bullying is what they mean when they are keeping positive and optimistic. As opposed to this board and apparently Indys where we all just are negative all the time.

Events are what matter.
It is the annual losses of £5 million, £6 million which are negative. The overall debt of £31 million or more which is negative. That's why those figures are in the red.
No 1967 football, no 1976 football, no Ramsey, no Clough and Taylor, no Revie, no Shankly and Paisley, no Chapman, no Stein, no Ferguson.
No quality players, no quality football, no 20,000 average attendances, no Figo, no Zidane.
That's negative.
Noticing it is positive. And saying so is merely honest.
