Considering I saw 12 Gianni Paladini headers for threads last weekend after our draw against Peterborough United.
I would like to dedicate one thread to him, for getting in an exciting prospect, with the potential to score many more goals.
Roll On Chelsea and hopefully we can continue the good form into next week, against Barnsley

Accept he's a loan, so we're grooming him for Arsenal something you said we wouldn't be doing this year

Where would the credit be due?
Would also be better if it was a Rangers player, who we signed, paid money for,or come up through our youth set up, that actually scored the goals.
Behave.
Can't even enjoy an away win without a f*cking agenda rearing it's head!!!

So saying that Paldini, not Magilton, IS in fact the one bringing in the players?

I thought pete posted at the start of the season that Jim had full say in players coming in?

Well done Gianni for backing Jim's selection and acquiring the player Jim expressly requested him to get.

Youi want to try reading rather than reacting mr jones. Don't see the need for personal abuse either but from you that's no surprise.
Look at the thread, from whence it came and what is was designed for.
Once you've done that, take a look at the match thread and various others and say it's negative after a win.
You need to look at yourself rather than dig out others.
See ya, your choice, no loss.
I thought I did well there.

As I noted on the other thread - qprreport.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=6884 - unless there were deletion,no idea why Scott reacted as he did. We've all seen threads on this site - and on all the other boards, far, far, far, FAR more controversial, heated, combattive, nasty, negative, whatever term you want to use. etc, etc, etc.

Considering that at the start of the season we were playing without a natural goal scorer in the starting 11, having Homer (Jay Simpson) in the team now makes us a much more threatening side. For that Gianni must be congratulated for he has managed to achieve what he had failed to do during the transfer window. Therin lies the rub. The Pellicori transfer was hyped up and then once signed, ramped down to just a squad player that probably won't start. That was frustrating as although Pelicori looks like a decent squad player and I can see him hitting 8-10 goals a season once he gets used to the championship, he was not the player we assumed we were getting as we needed a 20+ goal a season striker. And that's what we assumed Pallidini would go all out for in the summer. However, assumption being the overworked mother with too many kids that she is, who's to say that is not where we are now? I doubt the Homer loan came about in a matter of days and Gianni has been working on it for some time now, I expect going back to last season at least when I think I heard a whisper that we were looking at him. In those circumstances I imagine the purchases we did make were with Homer joining us in mind and Gianni was bound by an agreement with the Arsenal not to mention it at all. He took a slight risk in knowing he wouldn't be with us for the opening fixtures but figured we should win those with the squad we've got and then Homer will be available for the rest of the season. If Arsenal's strikers stay fit over Christmas the loan will probably be extended in January to the end of the season. So we have our 20+ a season striker, the board haven't had to shell out on a top striker and everyone is happy* *Except you lot, who will have to find something else to squabble over! ;D

Okay, I'll rephrase it.
Well done to Gianni for negiotiating to bring Simpson into the club. Will prove to be a valuable asset.
I'd hope anyone who saw Watson play yesterday would add him to the list.
I know it hurts and it must be killing some, but credit where credit is due . Okay, to criticise GP for bringing in One player that may not make it, but would be nice from time to time to congratulate him on ones that will.
I hope we can all do that, as it benefits the club and means we can win more than lose
By the way, not to sure anyone Saw Borrowdale play, but he had a good game too.
Roll On Barnsley.

Pete 1 question: Did Paulo.... Only joking! ;D Seriously: when I saw that midfield on paper I immediately thought YES! That is a serious midfield. I did not go yesterday (got a virus from going to the ground Tues. night!) and was wondering how they played together: Did they line up as a flat 4-4-2 and keep the shape? Did Vine drift back looking to pick up the ball and feed Homer? Who was more the more defensive Rowlands or Watson or do they share the role well? Which reminds me: Thank-you Gianni for getting Watson as well. You may have gone round the houses a couple of times in the process but he is here now and by all accounts what a difference he makes. A serious improvement. So to sum up: Onwards and upwards in that haphazard style that is QPR (ie: a few wrong turns on the way, chucking it in reverse looking for the turning once or twice and the kids still arguing in the back!)

Credit where credit is due, if true that Jim has full control he should have the credit. Gianni might have negotiated the deal which is also worth some credit. However, it would only be a great deal (I already consider it a good deal) if we have an option to buy him.

Remind me, Mark mentions extending OJay in January, is he not a season loan?
Good point on Watson, shame we didn't sign him from alice but if they wouldn't stump up the money so be it. The rub for me as far as he goes, is that we are putting him in the shop window to benefit others, which is a shame.
Got to agree, that midfield sounded excellent, looked quality on paper and I look forward to seeing it. I wonder how Taarabt gets back in? Interesting times ahead.
Well done Gianni, it is a shame and I do feel a tad of sympathy for those that have experienced the pain and indignity of a sense of humour bypass. ;D

A truly bizarre thread started by Pete!
Surely a Well done Jim would have been more appropriate for getting a result. Under pressure and with a terribly unbalanced squad further hampered by injuries to key players we scored 2, keft a clean sheet and came home with 3 points. A very good day at the office.
Why spoil it with this Pro GP agenda drivel? Every true QPR fan, person within the game and neutral aware of our situation can see what a woeful job GP is doing.
We have spent a fortune but still have to sell/loan out players in order to bring in an Arsenal youngster on loan while players who are clearly not good enough warm the bench and sit in the stands happy to collect huge pay cheques because we can’t offload them. We sold our best leftback and top scorer without replacing them adequately in the summer and we’re paying more than half Helguson’s wages to play for a rival team. I could go on but I’d rather not think about it and ruin the after glow of such a good away win. The point is, there are half a dozen ‘fans’ who think GP is the messiah and by complete coincidence they happen to be personal friends of his, some not seen at Loftus Rd before his arrival a few years back. These self styled ‘Unusual Suspects’, WTF is that about?, have an agenda. They are loyal to Gianni Palladini and not the club putting there own interests and those of their friend before QPR.
WE ARE QPR, Who the fkin hell are you?

Okay, I get it.
When we win, we will congratulate Jim Magilton
When we lose, we will start thread after thread about Gianni Paladini and blame him.
Most supporters can see through it. Have it your way, next game we draw or lose at home, lets see what you do.
