Practicing using more than one finger on Twitter and working out how he can fill in his time until next August. Anyway who would you leave off the bench to make room for him - even if he wanted to be sitting there? Armstrong and Roberts would get my vote before Bonne. Still today's the day Dykes gets a hat trick.

Really poor first 25 mins from QPR, should be 2 down , not creating anything yet.

Maybe a couple of early subs to get some fresh legs after 3 games in a week? Expecting to see Tim I. get a few minutes
If they have had time to practice will Beale switch to 3 at the back and push the full backs forward. He does not seem scared to make changes but also not one to panic.
Come out fighting after a half time gee up.

Poor first 45 deserved nothing. Reminded me of Blackburn first game where we did barely anything. We seem to blow hot or cold, really good or don’t turn up at all. Let’s see if we can have a better second half as that was 1-0 to the Swansea coach in terms of didn’t give us a sniff. Maybe change the midfield or formation

Maybe stop chesting the ball into the oppositions path might help. Needs to change things here.

Typical Championship - one goal will put us in the top 6!

Rotten performance. Like Blackburn , Swansea totally dominated us and totally deserved the win ,no excuses we were poor. Manager was totally outgunned. Didnt create enough, Dykes misses his standard two chances, heavens knows why he is still starting with 2 goals in 20, it’s embarrassing that he keeps starting now. Meanwhile we have Bonne sculking in the background and are to scared to start Armstrong as he is not ready. Going to be a long old season with our Striker situation if Chair and Willock are played out of games like today.

If we do not secure a loan striker, then we are as you were, going nowhere. Dykes needs to move on or go out on loan himself.

The usual clowns come to to life when we lose😂 Yeap - 2 great performances and all is well then a poor one and the usual moaners come out with doom and gloom forecasts and already taking aim at the manager. 8 games in and we are only 9th when some thought we are relegation favourites. As I posted yesterday an equaliser and we would be in the top 6 - what would the clowns be saying then? A newly assembled squad some of whom have not even played yet and after the window will need time to settle. We have the skill but are missing the consistency at the moment. Yesterday we were poor but a couple of poor ref decisions changed the course of the game and another silly defensive slip to give them their goal. As usual fine margins in this league and the anyone beats anyone trend does and will continue.

It’s a message board so there’s going to be a difference of opinion all the time. We were outplayed yesterday, the Manager did get it wrong. He even came out later in the admitting he did. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with pointing out these facts on this board when we have a crap game and when certain players are not performing. Let’s face it Dykes does need to be dropped.

Watched the ITV highlights show, was out yesterday so did not watch live. Pundits quite clear that Swansea should have been down to 10 men in the first five minutes. I thought the Dunne penalty was also a joke. No Swansea player appealed for it - good save from Seny at last though. The officials yet again doing us no favours. But then I watched MoftD and saw some incredible VAR decisions, totally changing the outcome of games - again the pundits very clear that these decisions were very wrong. How have we allowed the game to fall into this officiating mess. I am thankful despite yesterday's decisions that we do not have VAR in the Championship. In one game yesterday there was a 5 minute delay between the incident and the penalty being taken, thanks to VAR. What a different game football is today.

Agreed there will differences of opinion and do I do not think there is any difference of opinion about yesterday or about the way that Dykes is failing to score although there is room for debate about what he does for the team despite his lack of goals. Absolutely no harm in pointing it out either. The issue for me is the way in which a some people turn against the team and manager so quickly and the language they us to do it and generally stay silent when we are doing well. Does Dykes need to be dropped or does he need to play through it. That's what Beale is being paid to decide. Roberts is still to get fully fit so is only being given short cameo's -. If fully fit then he should be given a chance. The way we use Armstrong worries me. I know we are trying to "protect" him but these short sub appearances will not help his confidence if he does not the chances to get on the scoresheet and loses confidence.

Dykes tries, you can never say anything different he gives it his best. Reminds me of Washington in that way, he was another that always put a shift in but the pair of them will never be prolific goalscorers imo. It has got to the stage now which is a conversion rate of 1 goal in 10 in the last 20 games, where surely he must spend a bit of time on the bench. I think he is really lucky in the fact as our other options are so poor at the Club, otherwise he would have been benched 5 games ago at most other Championship clubs that have far better options than us.

Mick Beale saying loss not due to our lack of attacking options . I must admit I thought it was 2 goals in last 20 for Dykes but WLS quoting it as one goal in 21, he shouldn’t be starting now.

No one disagree that Dykes is on a terrible scoring run but I think it unfair to blame yesterdays loss on one man or if we do blame Field and Dickie for setting up their goal. We were poor in most positions and even Beale admits he left his subs too late. It was obvious to see and I posted at half time that we needed some quick subs to get fresh legs on the pitch. And day at the office all round not just one man.

I’m certainly not blaming Dykes for the result here, only the fact he should have been dropped weeks ago. Of course if we stick with him he’s going to score sooner or later probably against Hudds, Millwall or Stoke it’s the law of average he has to but the question really to answer is if we has dropped weeks ago and somebody played all the game minutes , how would they have faired, certainly impossible to have been worse.

What's wrong with calling someone a clown. It's just a matter of opinion. Exactly, remember that when someone calls the manager a clown in future. Or indeed a player, have a nice day.
