To be honest it's alot better value than we got these are younger and have a sell on value . Only really Hennessy who's probably 2nd choice keeper not worth anything.

Forest have reportedly offered Jesse Lingard 200K a week in wages to join. They have also signed the pair from Huddersfield for £10m - so if Lingard opts for the cash rather than for West Ham, he will be their 10th signing of the window - at least he is a 'free' transfer' though.

You knew Forest wouldn’t be able to stop themselves from buying a new team!
In the same manner that Watford will more than likely sack their manager about 3 weeks into the season if they start badly.
Some things just are.

Yes, that’s the thing about free transfers, though. £200k a week salary. So about £10m a year. That’s an easy one to resolve if you get relegated straight away, then!

Now reported as £115k per week 'with incentives'. So upwards of £6m for 9 months work. One year contract, no sell on value - and he could get injured in the first month of the season. Pretty risky stuff.

Statistic from last night's game against Manchester City - in playing their most recent signing (number 18 this window I think) Forest have used 55 players since the start of the 21/22 season.

Another statistic - they lost 6-0. Wonder how many defeats like that before they axe the manager and the replacement wants to sign his own new players

Forest still at it. Signed Boly from Wolves and now Josh Bowler is having medical before a 4million move. Forest will run out of shirt numbers soon.
Pity they did not sign Bowler a few weeks ago before he scored against us. Bad news for Blackpool fans as from what I have seen Bowler has been their stand out player so far this season and will be difficult to replace at short notice.
Edit: maybe they will take Bonne for 2 million and still have change left from selling Bowler.......and another pig just flew past my window.

I’ve learnt why we can’t buy a Striker all Summer, cos Forest have bought every one available.

150 million spent can get you a 6-0 thrashing. They've spent more this summer than in their previous entire history.

The one I do not understand is buying Josh Bowler and then sending him on loan to Greece for the season.
1. Why would Bowler do that? - Money or sunshine I suppose.
2. Why would Forest do that? In case they get relegated they can offload lots of players and have a ready made Championship player to replace them. He has been through the learning curve with us, Everton, loans and Blackpool.
3. Why would Blackpool sell probably their best player? Money I suppose.
I hope he gets a work permit .....Brexit and all that.

So how many of the Playoff Final Side are still featuring for Forest? At a rough count 5 or 6 of their play-off starting line up are still with the club - whether any will play any league games is another question as they have signed a number of new players for the same positions.

Go in 2-0 up at half time against a team that just lost 9-0 and somehow manage to contrive to lose 3-2!

Go in 2-0 up at half time against a team that just lost 9-0 and somehow manage to contrive to lose 3-2! It shows you how really good they are, It's very differcult to be up by 2 and steal a loss from the jaws of victory.
