Question is what formation are we playing ? BBC are saying 3 at the back with Kane in the middle of Dickie and Barbet. But with Kane Kakay and Wallace it could be 3 at the back with Kakay in there or 4 at the back with 2 out of Kakay Kane and Wallace playing full back ......or maybe we are going just with 2 centre backs in a 2 5 2 1 formation.

One thing I bang my head about MW is when we are shockingly bad like today, the subs still don’t cone on until his usual time.

MW lol, what a clueless plank he is. I cannot find anything positive from today's play, they deserve to win. Anyone know what defence system we are trying out?

Why take Austin off at 88 mins. Most likely to chip in a goal. Unless he's injured.

Very poor that was Huddersfield first away win in 11 games didn't get going at all only one decent chance fell to Kane we don't have any consistency hate to say it but we do look clueless at times

We currently struggle against teams who high press us and then sit deep. Or put it another way, we are not good when we go a goal behind, so the first goal is so important. We end up playing in front of teams - it is in those games that we miss Eze the most, the skill to unlock it. But as a team, we are still learning, and we have to find ways through. Several of our 'stars' had off days today including the great Charlie and the Norse God. But no complaints, we did not deserve anything today. The subs were late i agree, but they hardly made any difference when they did happen. Back to the drawing board...

Fortress Loftus Road where teams fear to come If fans were allowed in, we'd be hearing a lot of booing. Our home form is atrocious

Pretty bad performance that one, one of the worst of season. Why MW always waits to 75 minutes to make a change even when we are so poor? Then Dykes coming on would hardly put fear into Huddersfield with his last goal in November. Surely Bonne deserves to come on before Dykes now, sending Bonne and another on at 89 minutes is absolutely pointless. Poor performance, poor tactics too today.

Bad day at the office and that's it. Our away form is looking better than our home form - must be the extra pressure of playing in front of our home cardboard cut out fans. As I said in a previous post we seem to play better against the higher teams than those low down. Another case yesterday with a team pressing up hard and stopping us play whereas we get more room or counter attack against the higher teams. I would prefer to see us play 2 upfront but the confidence of Bonne and Dykes must be shot to pieces. Get another 6 points on teh board then give Kelman a run for the rest of the season.

Get shot of that clueless plum, honestly my dog has more tactical acumen than that twat. I just knew they would win because they have not beat anyone else. I have said before that I think you just post to wind people up. But rather than just posting the same message every time we fail to win, perhaps engage in debate about the performance - or lack of it. What did you think the manager should have done (apart from resign)? Austin and Johannsen saved our season, but yesterday they both looked one game too many - remember they hardly played before they joined QPR. Should Warburton have taken them off earlier / saved them for Millwall - as he did with De Wijs? He would have been told he was a plank if he took them off early, but instead he kept them on and our subsequent subs were very late - and not effective. Bacuna's unmarked goal was followed by almost the same move minutes later but with the second shot blocked, but who was supposed to be picking up Bacuna all game? Presumably it was meant to be Wallace, but he never got near him - and why was it not corrected? Both Field and Johannsen 'punished' Bacuna who then pretended to have been assassinated to waste time. Full marks to the ref who played 6 minutes extra, mainly for time wasting - only for Huddersfield to coast through it. In the Luton / Swansea game, the keeper was booked for timewasting on 55 minutes - so he had to be very careful after that - but more of that please, will we ever see a keeper red carded for time wasting? Knowing our luck, it will probably be Seny! But as I said in another post, we struggle to play through the lines once we are behind and we do not seem to have a player who can do that post Eze. Chair is the closest we have, but he is hell bent on shooting himself, Eze made so many chances for QPR. But it is all about opinions, and I like to come on the MB to hear the views of others, it would be boring if we all agreed, but this board has lost several good posters in the last year, I took time out as well and thought hard and long before returning. So Rangersman if you do it to wind up, then fair enough, I will just do what I normally do with your posts, but if you have opinions, perhaps try to articulate them and I will respond as best I can.

I really hope we put on a good show against Millwall. Everyone’s away record will be better during Covid there is no real advantage at all. I would imagine next season our Home form will be better as we will pick up more home wins than aways again. Yesterday was just a bad day at the office, MW delay in changing subs was poor again though and mindless to send on two at 89 minutes, please tell me the point of that.

This is a bit harsh - but sort of emphasises what I was saying about subs yesterday.... Stefan Johansen badly let Queens Park Rangers down by Lewis Blain lewisblainsportshareFacebook Twitter Pocket Pocket Pocket Addthis 3 minute read 14/3/2021 | 10:10am Queens Park Rangers were unable to continue their rich vein of form on Saturday afternoon as they slumped to a home defeat to lowly Huddersfield Town, and one man badly let Mark Warburton down. The Terriers were the better side throughout the encounter, but it may have been a different match had Todd Kane converted an absolute sitter with it still all-square before the break. Ilias Chair teed up the right wing-back from seven yards out and he still missed – many will blame him for the result, but it was the Rs’ inability to control the match from midfield that ultimately proved to be their downfall. Fulham loanee Stefan Johansen endured, perhaps, his worst game since joining the club in January – as described by West London Sport in their post-match ratings: ‘Probably his least impressive display since his arrival from Fulham. Loose in possession with too many over-hit passes and struggled to get on top against the excellent [Lewis] O’Brien and Jonathan Hogg.’ Indeed, he was graded as their worst starter and it’s easy to see why. The Norweigan veteran played the full 90 minutes, and recorded the second-most touches of anyone on the pitch (95). Therefore, his influence in the match should’ve been far greater as he’s clearly meant to be pulling the strings from the engine room. However, Warburton got very little in return. Johansen also lost possession 17 times, meaning he handed the ball back to Huddersfield once every five minutes – or once every 5.5 touches, as per SofaScore. The £1.8m-rated 30-year-old was also weak in his battles, winning only one of five duels (20%), which merely reinforces the view from WLS that he struggled to combat the energy and aggression from O’Brien and Hogg in the middle. By comparison, midfield partner Sam Field only lost three of 11 duels in the middle, whilst no other Hoops player was as ineffective. So, much of the fault may well lie at Kane’s feet but that was merely one chance in 90 minutes of football and thus, Johansen’s performance must be criticised just as much – if not more – especially given his vast experience. Warburton would have surely wanted better from the £8k-per-week promotion winner. www.footballfancast.com/qpr-news/queens-park-rangers-latest-news-update-stefan-johansen-ratings-verdict-opinion-todd-kane-mark-warburton-hudderfield-defeat-championship-rumours-gossip
