Not the longest deal but keeps Manchester City, Celtic and Crystal Palace away.
SINCLAIR Armstrong has signed an 18-month contract extension with QPR. The 17-year-old striker has put pen to paper on deal which will keep him at the club until the summer of 2022. QPR also has a further one-year option. Armstrong joined the R’s four months ago from Shamrock Rovers and has impressed in that time. A Republic of Ireland Under 17 international, Armstrong will continue his development with Paul Furlong’s Under 18s. Armstrong had been with Rovers since 2017 and made his senior debut for the League of Ireland Premier Division club aged just 15.

Will be interesting to see if he will live up to the hype. I hope so, good luck to him.

Looks like a big strong lad in the Charlie Austin mode. Could learn a lot from being around Charlie!

It is a pretty short extension though - presumably the best the club could obtain, but he is only in the Under 18s at present, he would have to truly fast track to progress through the under 23s to the first team in that time. I assume we will be looking to extend again next January or before.
