Stick with Bonne for the minute he has played a season at Championship level, Kelman hasn’t, his time will come. Bonne and Dykes need some better service that’s all. If we have some more attempts at goal the goals will come, our shots and attempts at goal has been dreadful this year. If we fail to win any of the next three to four games my ratings of MW will start to drop immensely.

Probably closer to Harr's view. Kelman definitely has something but feels like someone we really need to ease in. Maybe off the bench but my worry would be that right now, on a bad run, it could put a bit too much on his shoulders. He was brought in to contribute, definitely, but he's mainly here to grow long term. Effectively chucking him in as responsible for scoring goals in a team that's struggling for goals is a huge thing to saddle him with.
Much as I was disappointed with Bonne last time out, we've not got a lot of striking options and figuring out how he interacts with Dykes in the 'one' is probably something we need to try and give time to get right. He has scored goals at this level before.

I thought that may be the consensus (even is a small one) and would not push it either way. Maybe after the next international break when we will probably have Dykes out for a couple of games as we play 9 games in ultra quick time would be the time just to give him one or two games making it clear there is no pressure just in to help the squad - go and enjoy yourself type approach. The other piece of the equation to me is to see how the Thomas/Dykes partnership works out with our without Bonne> Warburton seems to have high hopes if he can get them both fit at the same time. Yeah, I could see that. Obviously depends on the state we're in come then but would be nice to at least see a glimpse of where he's at. I definitely want to see more of Thomas when he's fit. Combative, quick and versatile.

Can't see it matters who plays upfront if the supply fails to get any better. so I would mix up the midfield first.

Has Dykes been fully fit since returning from Scottish duties? And no Dickie at the back, I kind of fear the worst on Saturday... ..which is usually just about when Rangers turn in a stonking 4-1 win!

In my opinion we don´t have such midfielders that we could be competitive enough playing with 2 strikers. 2 strikers would quite obviously mean 4 midfielders and choosing two central players from Cameron, Ball, Carroll, Chair, Amos, Thomas is not easiest one. At least I can´t name ideal partnership, especially as I find it very strange if team captain would be left out.
Instead I would prefer fielding either Dykes/Bonne as a lone striker with very attacking midfield of 5. Alternatively 3 forwards with 3 midfielders with rather short distances each other and big responsibility for our LB/RB players for controlling flanks.

Kakay on bench and Kane starts - this is quite ok, as Kakay have had maybe three more or less only averange games in row. He needs also a rest and little competition will do no harm.
I really miss Dom Ball from midfield, but also I like to see Carroll playing. Hope he starts to be in 90min condition as he clearly is capable of quality passing play.

Very close twice now. Smithies tips over from Adomah, Dykes forces a corner from a difficult header. Bright start.

How on earth is Vaulks not off?? Rotating deliberate nasty afters all game so far, pure Harris. Ojo on Niko. Moore on Dieng, leading with an arm. Vaulks has done Barbet and BOS, late and deliberate. Woolmer a f*cking joke ref, as always.

Woolmer is so inconsistent. A ref who can easily have a big impact on the outcome of a game. Several players on yellow, should be even more from Cardiff. He is so keen to flash the card, someone is sure to see red. I just hope that person plays for Cardiff. They are pretty aggressive and love the 'afters'. Good performance from QPR so far.
