Great to see Ball back in starting eleven!
Also reasonable decision to give Dykes a rest after internationals, especially now that we have some options to choose from.
Interesting subs available - can´t wait the game!

Bournemouth defenders seem to have difficulties with our game. First 15mins very promising start.

0-0 HT. Missed some good opportunities. Will we live to regret them?

Think we have had the better of the first half because Bournemouth only had one shot. Bonne missed our best chance with a fine save by the keeper. But similarly, they could have scored from their one chance. Kakay and BOS both booked. All to play for, anyone's game.

Amos injury (knee) looked bad, but did not need the stretcher, so hope it has not gone again. Replaced by Carroll Bournemouth much better in the second half, but still anyone's game

Great first half from us.
Bournemouth shaded the second, but both teams just lacked the killer final ball in the final third.
All in all a point each was about right and I'm happy with taking a point from 'Muff at their place and well happy with a Clean Sheet too.
Defence actually looked good today. Dickie is a quality defender and we already look better for having him.
Kakay is going to be one of our next Prem bound players.

I'm very pleased with that point. Our second clean sheet of the season
Hopefully we will follow it up with decent performances this week.
I've not seen it, but I understand that Dickie & Amos had good games. Can any of you that viewed the game confirm please?

Amos was having a good game until he picked up a knee injury. Hope it is not as serious as first looked Dickie was outstanding although has a tendency to shirt pull. Kakay did a couple of great tackles. Wallace had a much better game as did Barbet. Adomah looked really good when he came on and he even had a fairytale chance to score. Cameron is an enigma though. He did some things really well and yet many of his passes went astray. Great performance, but we do lack that final ball.

About the game. We were so good in the first half that I am positive we have all possibilities for very interesting season! When we were left missing the goal despite dominating for the first 45min, all difficulties in second half were more than expected. After few changes we were back on drivers seat for last 10mins - to me this is a good indication of team with width and quality! Damn, when is the next game? BRING IT ON!!!
Today we had only good players there, but maybe few of them can be named:
Dickie - Very solid and reliable, once again! "Silent killer", does his job efficiently and leave no survivors. Kakay - seemed to have average display for Kakays game. Still very good. Definately talented defender. Ball - Backbone of our midfield and managed to bring some grit and reliability there. Very good for first start. We need him in midfield.

The next game is on Wednesday at home to Preston, followed by home to Birmingham on Saturday.

The game was on here in NZ too, I recorded it as I was too knackered. No one tell me the result, it might change in my replay.

I've not seen it, but I understand that Dickie & Amos had good games. Can any of you that viewed the game confirm please? Yes, they both had good games. Dickie was MotM for me, kept Solanke quiet and he and Dieng seem to have given the defence a reassurance that we haven’t had for a long time. Amos was very good too, tracked back whenever we lost the ball. Kakay is the one who impressed me. He looks like one of those players that is going to excite you every time he gets the ball and goes forward and you can see him growing into games already. Dom Ball was excellent too. It may have been 0-0 but that was genuinely the best I’ve seen us play in a long while. I think part of the final third problem was down to not having Dykes. He would have really caused that Bournemouth defence problems and, if paired with Bonne, the two of them can definitely feed off each other. Bonne looks to be an out and out fox in the box striker and I think he would have fed off Lyndon’s knock downs today if they’d have both played. Correct decision to rest Dykes though, especially with a midweek game too. Play like that every week and we’ll be more than fine this season.
