After the Forest debacle, 7 points from Derby (A), Preston (H) and Brum (A) is really, really good. So happy with that.

Even though we didn't produce much football, we were well organised, compact & the better side. There was only one moment in the game when I thought we might concede. A lot better from us in the second half as well.
The Brum subs played into our hands as the BFG then had to win an aerial battle, which he did easily. A great goal from BOS, but I thought Hall was outstanding. A very easy match for Joe Lumley, however he looked very confident & it's great that he has that back.
I'm very pleased!

We were under the cosh first half and had no shots on target. Luckily they were toothless in the final third, or we could have been 3 nil down. So good result but still plenty of work to do on our defence. Not out of the woods yet.

Well happy with that result, rode our luck a bit in the first half but about time we had a bit of luck like that. Lets keep it going over Christmas, put in a good shift at Barnsley and then Charlton are on a dreadful run at present. Hoping to get four points from these.

Could watch that BOS goal over and over again, bloody hell it's good. Started in his own half!

2 clean sheets - like the old no. 11 buses - used to be none for an hour then 3 came in a row. I'm beginning to believe even more my own comment that the last 10 minutes against Forest were the kick up the backside that the team and manager needed - and maybe dropping Hugill means his supposed comments to his PNE friends were more serious than people think - or maybe just rotating to give him a bit of a rest. Good to see goals coming from different players - just need Eze, Wells and Hugill to maintain their scoring rate and we will be doing well. Anyway another good 3 points and on paper there is no reason why we cannot pick up 12 points form our 4 remaining December games - that comment should be the curse to end it all - and maybe dropping Hugill means his supposed comments to his PNE friends I missed that, what was said and to who?

Not much of a game tbh. Warburton adjusted the pack to 4-2- 3-1 and was not very ambitious in the first half. The first goal was scrappy and possibly off-side - but how nice to get the benefit of the doubt. But no better time to score than first half injury time! It allowed us to sit back and rely on the breaks and then we got the second goal. Pretty average sort of goal really...................but seriously, Bright must be over the moon with his solo effort. Really pleased for him. I have watched the goal several times. It just gets better and better, even though I had predicted 0-1. Great result though.

- and maybe dropping Hugill means his supposed comments to his PNE friends I missed that, what was said and to who? It was tucked away in the endless bad loser moans from PNE staff in the press. Probably just a wind up but one said that Hugill had told them - presumably at half time - that we would back off in the second half because we would be nervy because we had not kept a clean sheet all season. Probably just banter to wind up old team mates I hope - but if he was serious it would be a different matter. The fact he was a sub and played some part last night implies to me that there is nothing in the story - if it was serious he may not have been in the squad. Hmm, if true that sucks.

We could do with Charlton not winning tonight, they have only picked up 2 points in there last 9 games, drawing two and losing 7. Be typical they get a win before playing us

Be typical they get a win before playing us Drew 2 -2, conceded a 96th minute equaliser! Typical tight Championship, potential to go 7th if we win this afternoon. 6th if we win 6-0 and PNE lose 6-0!
