Such a dreadful horrific deadly Volcano off the coast of N.Z hasn't affected our NZ members.

Yes such a terrible tragedy., horrid. My eldest son was on holiday over there for 3 weeks touring and seeing the sights, was supposed to fly home Friday, couldn’t get through the roads to to the South Island Airport he was supposed to fly home due to all the torrential floods over there. So missed flight, ended up flying from Queenstown to Auckland to USA to home, will get home tomorrow hopefully. The storms have Ending up costing him £900 , there’s a chance he can get half back though.

Google it guys, White Island is 35 miles of the coast in the Bay of Plenty. he good news is, it was only those on the Island that were affected. Sad though, 6 officially deceased and 8 more still unaccounted for. Plus a lot of people have suffered 90-95% burns, including in their lungs from inhaling. Very very sad. The volcano was at Alert Level 2 which is an inticator to not go near the place as unexpected action could happen. It is now on Alert level 3. Check out this site too... GeoNet
