....spend a bit of severance pay, do some Sky TV pundit work, then yes he'll get a job no doubt...the merry go round managers sit down and select who gets sacked next and then who will replace. The discussion about the Villa job is taking place now, not with Villa but with the Merry go Round managers.........Moyes, Big Sam, Arry you know the usual suspects.

That 95 th minute penalty went in, he would still be in work today.

I suspect they have someone lined up. Probably been chatting him up for sometime - although not as long as QPR chatted to McClaren

That 95 th minute penalty went in, he would still be in work today. Have to admit I did have a giggle at that penalty - no idea why Whelan took it. Senior player taking responsibility? They had some hefty bad luck last night but was boring hearing Bruce moan and moan when he had the likes of Yannick Bolassie brought in, constantly being supported with signings and they still couldn't perform. Still...not sure he deserved having a cabbage lobbed at him!

To be honest: If I was Aston Villa; I wouldnt want McClaren. The thing with Bruce or Allardyce or Pullis or Pardew....(Or Warnock) They may not be geniuses; but they have learned....

[/p] The other day I read a post - I think on here - suggesting that if Ferdinand goes to the FA, McClaren should move up to DoF and get a new manager in. I had this terrible thought last night - could that actually happen and we end up with Bruce as manager? [/quote] Suspect Bruce might end up back at Hull, given the state they're in (and that he's from up that kind of way). EDIT - haha, c*cked up that quote then...

Thierry Henry firm favorite - he nearly took over at the start of the season. Bruce said to be furious that he has been sacked by the fans reaction. I would not want Bruce and think that McClaren would not have secured any other job. I think the QPR role will end in tears (they all do) and he will struggle to get another job. It was me who pointed out that McClaren could move upstairs if Sir Les departs. It was not wishful thinking, just a typical compromise that we are likely to make. There are many who want Ferdinand out,but they really do have to be careful who they wish for.

Or maybe Chris Ramsey will join Ferdinand with England at some level And McClaren can focus on coaching/developing the QPR Youth!

Of course with TonyFernandes "Downsizing" his role, Ferdinand may not feel as secure in his position with Amit Bhatia. This way if he gets The FA Job, strengthens his CV

Some more on Steve Bruce... BBC saying that Interesting that Villa and Leeds both protested about Wolves' connection with Mendes last year... Bl**dy hell, the rise and rise of the 'super agent'. The state of the game just gets worse and worse...
