It’s close for me between Ingram and Lumley with the latter really pushing on last season but for experience I’d have Ingram.

I'd start the season with Ingram

I've got a feeling Lumley will overtake Ingram as our No.1

Not seen much of either.
Ingram came in with a big fanfare and initially looked a better bet than Smithies after Alex had a few nervous early performances.
Not sure I've got the same confidence in Ingram now as I did then, but still happy he's a decent keeper and young enough to improve year-on-year.
Lumley's been under the radar and quietly been getting on and improving with his talents.
Loan teams and fans seem to love him.
I think it's between those two. I would probably give Ingram the nod, but wouldn't be surprised to see joe pushing him hard for a place.

I'd like to see Lumley take it, simply because I think he's (not by a lot) the better of the two keepers and with the better long term potential. I genuinely don't know who I'd start as a number 1 though from a club point of view. Lumley can look at the likes of Eze, Furlong etc. and think he's now due a run - he's been out on loan numerous times, he's had a few games in the first team and now will want to push on. Meanwhile Ingram moved from Wycombe with a good record and will feel aggrieved if he's at number 2 now Smithies has gone.
Straight shoot out between the two in training I'd imagine and whoever seems in the best form nicks it.
