Now that the annual waste of the first Saturday of January has passed us, we return to the important matter of the trip to Burton.
I will be making one of my infrequent away trips & would ask the veterans of past visits for advice on street parking & which pub to quench my thirst in.
At present I'm favouring the Burton Bridge Inn (trad bitter a must) which is about a 30 minute walk to the ground & hopefully the car can be parked in the estate (Sydney Street) between the town centre & the ground.
All advice will be greatly received.
Thanks

Can't help you with a preferred watering hole Terry but the Offie is saying you won't be seeing Cousins and Smyth www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/duo-set-to-miss-burton-clash/Duo set to miss Burton clashIan Taylor @ijtaylor81 IAN Holloway will have to make do without the services of Paul Smyth and Jordan Cousins at Burton Albion this weekend. The duo have been ruled out of the trip to the Pirelli Stadium owing to injury, meaning Holloway will be forced to shuffle his pack against Nigel Clough’s men. Holloway told http://www.qpr.co.uk: “Paul picked up a thigh injury in training so he’s out unfortunately. “Jordan has got a slight hamstring problem. I don’t believe it is a huge issue but we need to be careful with him owing to his recent history.” However, there’s some good news for Rangers ahead of the trip to Staffordshire. Alex Baptiste is available after overcoming a back injury which saw him come off against MK Dons last weekend, whilst Massimo Luongo is set to return after being rested for the FA Cup tie. Meanwhile, James Perch came through 90 minutes of Under-23s football on Monday, so edges closer to a First Team return

Well he would do..... Ian Holloway blames lowly league position on injuries as he targets 'a day to remember' against Burton Albion.......... The teams towards the top of the division are more consistent than we are,” Holloway said. “They do things slightly better a few fractions more of the time. That’s the reality of it. A few fractions
