Wheeler up top? I have a bad feeling about this, but at least it's something new!

Am I the only one who feels like we get our shots blocked more than most. Even when we're in and around the box we rarely get a really clean shot on goal without someone getting a leg or foot on it. They'll be a nice build up and someone like Freeman will be the ball on the edge of the box and you start towards the edge of your seat and it feels like it just always gets blocked.

As long as he leaves Sylla on the bench..we wouldn't want to score or anything.

2-0 feels about right to me..Derby are better than we are especially with a defender subbed out at the half for a midfielder.
We have the cutting of a butter knife.

How many will be it this time , 4-5-6-7 losses on the spin you just never know. Predictable away loss, probably go to May without an away win

A laughing stock to be sure , and when you read the comments from the players before the game it really is pathetic . I can take thinking we're crap away from home (we are, have been for the last few years as well, it's a big problem) but calling us a 'laughing stock' is proper unfair. We've got a really good group of hard working lads in the squad at the moment with a lot of injuries. We are far from a laughing stock. We were a laughing stock when we were funding a bunch of dickheads on their last big pay day. Now we're just a cheaply assembled, inconsistent mid-table side who works really hard. Crushing irony of all this is that most people kicking off are people who said they'd be chuffed with a midtable consolidation season. For the first time in years I actually feel good paying money to go through the turnstiles to watch this lot, win or lose. Joke we are not. May want to cast an eye over at the likes of Sunderland, Bolton and Hull in terms of how they're being ran before tarring off our team for getting beat away at a team in the play-off positions.

^ That's not directed solely at rangersman or whatever. Just a general frustration that we're performing like a cheaply assembled midtable side and people think it's a joke or a surprise or something.

I had high hopes following our positive start that the team would prove most of us wrong and over achieve this season, given our limited spend compared to others in this division. However, those hopes are diminishing fast. Four strikers, all of whom can score a few goals but none of which are prolific and the age old problems of a leaky back four and a dreadful away record are starting to tell.
If we don't buck our ideas up over Christmas and the New Year we will be relying on other teams results to keep us out of big trouble come May.

Five games to go to halfway, I have no idea how many points we will pick up but get the feeling not that many. Brentford seem to get the better of us, Leeds, Preston, Bristol C all better than us and Birmingham away, just need to say the word AWAY and my confidence goes. Hopefully we can crawl to 25 points or beyond at the half way stage of 23 games.

He picked a team to nick a draw which away from home against a bang average Derby side was always liable to fail particularly given our propensity for switching off at the back time and time again.

Ollie was limited by our increasing injury list.
He's doing OK with very limited resources.
Don't know what the solution is short-term, we'll just have to try and limp though...
Perhaps our forwards can get a bit of inspiration by pinching Eze back from Wycombe in January - certainly add a bit more sparkle than Mackie, who could revert to an 'impact' (hopefully) sub?
