From the Offie. First for this new season www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/loan-rangers-ingram-makes-northampton-debut/Loan Rangers: Ingram makes Northampton debutDavid Scriven @dmscriven MATT Ingram made an instant impact at Northampton Town as he helped the Cobblers to their first win of the season. Making his debut on Saturday, Ingram kept a clean sheet as new Town boss and former Râs manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink got off to a winning start against Doncaster Rovers. It took Ingramâs new teammates fewer than 30 seconds to take the lead at Sixfields after Matt Crooks scored the winner. Ingram made a number of crucial saves for the League One outfit late on to ensure the three points remained in Northamptonshire. Meanwhile, highly rated QPR attacker Eberechi Eze also made his first appearance for Wycombe Wanderers as a second half substitute in their 0-0 draw at Newport County. Eze replaced Matt Bloomfield 11 minutes from time to make an impressive first bow in League Two as the Chairboys sealed a point. There was no place in the matchday squad for Under-23s defender Jack Williams, also on loan with Gareth Ainsworthâs side. There was also a debut for midfielder Brandon Comley as Colchester United sealed a 3-1 win at home to Crawley Town. Comley completed the full 90 minutes for the Uâs and even had a hand in the League Two sides third goal. His cross was diverted back across goal by Frankie Kent for teammate Mikael Mandron to head home from close range seven minutes before half-time. Finally, defender Alex Finney was an unused substitute for Maidstone in their 3-1 win against Woking in the National League whilst Under-23s striker Brandon Adams was also on the bench for Linfieldâs 1-0 win against Glentoran in the Irish Premier League.

Latest Loan Rangers news from the Offie www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/loan-rangers-comley-helps-colchester-to-point/Loan Rangers: Comley helps Colchester to pointDavid Scriven @dmscriven GOALKEEPER Matt Ingram helped Northampton Town to their second win in a week thanks to a 3-1 victory against Portsmouth. The Râs keeper helped Jimmy Floyd Hasselbainkâs side claim all three points against Pompey to lift them to 17th in the League One table. Ingram joined the Cobblers on loan until the end of season on deadline day and linked up with his former manager at the Sixfields stadium. Meanwhile, Eberechi Eze made his full League debut for Wycombe Wanderers in their 0-0 draw at Mansfield Town last night. The tricky attacker was handed a start by Chairboys boss Gareth Ainsworth following his substitute appearance against Notts County on Saturday. And the 18-year-old completed an impressive 90 minutes as the League Two side claimed a solid point on the road. However, Râs teammate Jack Williams was not in the Wycombe matchday squad again and played for Rangers Under-23s 24-hours earlier as per the terms of his loan. Brandon Comleyâs unbeaten start to his loan spell at Colchester United continued following the Uâs 1-1 draw with Chesterfield last night. Comley completed the full 90 minutes for the Essex side as Brandon Hanlan scored eight minutes from time to secured a point for the League Two outfit. His Under-23s teammate Brandon Adams was a second half substitute for Linfield in their 2-1 Irish Premier League defeat as Crusaders. The QPR forward replaced Louis Rooney in the 64th minute for the third placed side. Finally, Under-23s defender Alex Finney was an unused substitute for Maidstone in their 1-0 win at Eastleigh.

Latest Loan Rangers www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/loan-rangers-ingram-features-in-cobblers-draw/Loan Rangers: Ingram features in Cobblers drawIan Taylor @ijtaylor81 MATT Ingram's unbeaten start to life as a Northampton Town player continued this weekend, despite the Cobblers throwing away a two-goal lead against Southend United on Saturday. After back-to-back wins in his - and new boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's - first two games, Northampton made it seven points from a possible nine with a 2-2 draw at Roots Hall. The Cobblers led 2-0 at the break, thanks to a Nile Ranger own goal and Matt Crooks' 20-yard curler. But strikes from Jason Demetriou and Anthony Wordsworth saw Phil Brown's side fight back to pick up a share of the spoils. The draw consolidated Northampton's place in 17th in League One. In League Two, Brandon Comley's Colchester United lost at Cheltenham Town. Comley played 63 minutes in the 3-1 defeat, as the ten-man U's slipped down to 17th. Elsewhere in the fourth tier, Ebere Eze was an unused substitute as Gareth Ainsworth's Wycombe Wanderers suffered a late 2-1 defeat to Luton Town. There was no place in the matchday squad for Under-23's defender Jack Williams, also on loan at Adams Park. In the National League, defender Alex Finney was a 79th minute substitute for Maidstone United, who cruised to a 4-1 win over Macclesfield Town, whilst Brandon Adams played their final 28 minutes in Linfield's 4-0 thumping of Ballinamallard United in the Irish Premier League.

Latest Loan Rangers from the Offie to complement rangerjake's thread www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/loan-rangers-eze-stars-in-wycombe-win/Loan Rangers: Eze stars in Wycombe winDavid Scriven @dmscriven EBERECHI Eze was the star of the show in Wycombe Wanderers late 3-2 win against Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday night. The Râs youngster, on a season long loan at Adams Park, set-up the Chairboys 90th minute winner in League Two last night. Eze played through Nathan Tyson in stoppage time as Gareth Ainsworthâs side overturned a 2-1 deficit. That came after Eze himself had earlier struck the woodwork in a Man of the Match performance for the young QPR attacker. Ezeâs Under-23s teammate Jack Williams was not in the matchday squad for Wanderers. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Matt Ingram kept a clean sheet for Northampton Town in their 0-0 draw at Milton Keynes Dons. Ingram ensured a shutout for Jimmy Floyd Hasselbainkâs League One outfit as the Cobblers picked up a point at stadium:mk. Finally, Central midfielder Brandon Comley played the full 90 minutes for League Two side Colchester United last night. The Uâs drew 2-2 with Grimsby Town as they suffered late heartache when they conceded an 89th minute penalty.

Wycombe supporters with lots of praise for Eze who set up the winning goal in a win over Crewe yesterday.
Good to hear, but it seems they're playing him in midfield and I was really hoping he would develop into an out and out striker.
P.S. - Former R Michael Harriman scored a corker as well. Still only 24, playing as a right back.

From the Offie a few days ago www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/loan-rangers-ingram-praised-in-heavy-defeat/Loan Rangers: Ingram praised in heavy defeatDavid Scriven @dmscriven DESPITE receiving praise for his performance, QPR goalkeeper Matt Ingram will want to forget Northampton Townâs 6-0 defeat against Bristol Rovers at the weekend in a hurry. Ingram saved a 42nd minute penalty from Rovers Tom Nichols as the Cobblers went into the break just 1-0 down. And despite making a number of saves after half-time Ingram was powerless to prevent the Pirates running riot at the Sixfields Stadium as they scored a further five times to inflicted a heavy loss on former Râs boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbainkâs side. Speaking afterwards Ingram said: âThere was so many opportunities to make saves that I was always going to make a few. I made some good saves, but at the same time we lost 6-0, so what does a save mean? I made some good saves, but we lost 6-0, so what does a save mean? âIt was a really disappointing performance. It was a first for a lot of people in the dressing room and a first for me to lose by six. "It's hard to put your finger on it. We've got a great group of lads working together, and there's no reason why it shouldn't be working, but evidently there is. Next week we need to find that reason and put it right. "It could have been (worse), but we need to work on making it better.â Elsewhere, youngster Eberechi Eze received the plaudits for his display in Wycombe Wanderers 3-1 win at Cambridge United. Eze struck two wonder goals for the Chairboys as Gareth Ainsworthâs side moved up to seventh spot in the League Two table. QPR Under-23s teammate Jack Williams was an unused substitute for Wanderers. Brandon Comley was a second half substitute for Colchester United in their 2-0 home win against Mansfield Town. The Rs midfielder replaced Kyle Reid in the 55th minute of their League Two win to leave the Uâs 15th in the table. Finally, Alex Finney made a rare substitute appearance for Maidstone Town as he came off the bench in the 17th minute of their 1-1 draw against Guiseley. Finney replaced Magnus Okuonghae, making only his fourth appearance of the season, in defence at the Gallagher Stadium as they dropped to 9th spot in the National League

The QPR goalkeeper, currently on loan at the Cobblers, played the full 90 minutes in Northamptonâs 2-1 win at Gillingham on Saturday. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbainkâs side scored 17 minutes from time to secure three points as they moved above their opponents into 22nd. Elsewhere, Eberechi Eze was a second half substitute in Wycombe Wanderers defeat at fellow promotion chasers Swindon Town on Saturday. Eze came off the bench for Gareth Ainsworthâs side in the 66th minute to replace Sam Saunders. However, the Râs youngster was unable to inspire a comeback as Harry Smithâs 15th minute goal handed the Robins victory in League Two. Ezeâs Under-23s teammate Jack Williams was not in the matchday squad at the County Ground. Meanwhile, midfielder Brandon Comley helped 10 man Colchester United to a 0-0 draw at Coventry City. Comley completed 90 minutes for the Uâs at the Ricoh Arena as Tom Lapslieâs 76th minute dismissal meant the Essex side were forced to settle for a point. Saturdayâs start means the 21-year-old has now made nine appearances since joining on loan in the summer. Alex Finneyâs trip to Fylde with Maidstone United was abandoned after 48 minutes as Storm Brian took grip. Fresh from his extra-time goal in Maidstoneâs FA Cup replay midweek, Finney had started at their Mill Farm stadium, but torrential rain saw the match called off three minutes into the second half. The hosts were leading 2-1 at the time. Finally, Brandon Adamsâ Linfield host Crusaders tonight at Windsor Park in the Irish Premiership.

The QPR Under-23s defender, making his fourth start for the National League side, smashed home deep into stoppage time to hand Maidstone victory at the Gallagher Stadium. However, the Robins pulled one back with 20 minutes to go before Eze appeared to be fouled in the build-up to Brian Grahamâs 89th minute winner for Cheltenham as Gareth Ainsworthâs League Two side had to settle for a point. Râs youngster Eze has made 10 appearances for Wycombe, scoring three times. There was no place in the Wanderers matchday squad for his Under-23s teammate Jack Williams. The Râs attacker then earned the Chairboys a penalty as Joe Jacobson fired home from 12-yards two minutes before half-time. Hot off the Offie press for a change www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/loan-rangers-dieng-goal/Loan Rangers: Keeper Dieng gets on the scoresheet!Paul Morrissey @pjmorrissey77 GOALKEEPER Seny Dieng was an unlikely scorer for Whitehawk in their 2-1 defeat at Chippenham Town this weekend. Trailing 2-0, the stopper went forward for a late corner and duly headed home from eight yards for the Hawks! Unfortunately it proved little-more than a consolation strike with the earlier goals from Matt Smith and Dave Pratt enough to earn the hosts victory in their National League South fixture. Ebere Eze and Jack Williams both completed 90 minutes as Wycombe beat West Ham United U21s in the Checkatrade Trophy at Adams Park last Tuesday night. Goals from Will De Havilland and Sido Jombati secured victory for Gareth Ainsworthâs side. Eze was cup-tied for the Chairboys FA Cup clash at home to Leatherhead on Saturday, while Williams was an unused sub in the game which saw Wycombe run out 3-1 winners. Attacking midfielder Eze has made 16 appearances during his loan spell so far, scoring five goals, while full-back Williams has turned out on four occasions to date. Matt Ingram didnât feature in Northamptonâs Checkatrade Trophy defeat to Portsmouth on Saturday. The Cobblers went down 2-0 at Fratton Park. Maidstone United suffered a 4-1 defeat at MK Dons in the second round of the FA Cup this weekend, a game which saw Alex Finney once again complete 90 minutes for the National League side. Despite Magnus Okuonghae giving the visitors a half-time lead at Stadium:mk, their League One opposition were too strong for them after the break. Aidan Nesbitt, Peter Pawlett and a Kieran Agard brace saw the Dons progress into the third round. Under 23s forward Brandon Adams didnât feature in Linfieldâs 1-0 victory over Dungannon Swifts on Saturday. Meanwhile, there was no fixture at the weekend for Colchester United where Brandon Comley is enjoying a loan spell.

More on Matt Ingham's shoulder injury from the Northampton Chronicle & Echo www.northamptonchron.co.uk/sport/football/cobblers-goalkeeper-ingram-touch-and-go-for-blackburn-showdown-1-8297619Cobblers goalkeeper Ingram âtouch and goâ for Blackburn showdownMatt Ingram hasn't played since the 0-0 draw with Bury JEREMY CASEY Published: 11:13 Tuesday 19 December 2017 Cobblers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink admits it is âtouch and goâ as to whether goalkeeper Matt Ingram will be fit to play in Saturdayâs Sky Bet League One date with in-form Blackburn Rovers. The on-loan shot-stopper damaged his shoulder in the 0-0 draw with Bury on November 25, and hasnât played since. Ingram is currently back at Loftus Roaad undergoing treatment, and although Hasselbaink says the injury is not a long-term one, this weekend may come too soon. âMatt has gone back to QPR, and he is being assessed there,â said the Cobblers boss. â He has some kind of problem with the muscles in his shoulder, and itâs not bad.âWe donât know if he will make it on Saturday, that will be touch and go, as he needs to put a little more strength in his shoulder. âHe took a big whack on it, and he is a strong boy so it must have been a big whack, but he should be back soon, if it is not against Blackburn, then it will be against Doncaster (on Boxing Day).â

In fact, the 22-year-old Londoner produced possibly his best performance in a Uâs shirt, from 19 first-team appearances, during the 2-0 win at Crawley Town on Boxing Day. Comley set up the Uâs second goal for Sammie Szmodics in that fine victory in West Sussex, a result which lifted John McGrealâs men up to fifth in the League Two table. Although his current loan deal, from QPR, expires on January 14, there is a strong chance that he will remain with Colchester for the rest of the campaign. âIâd love to stay longer,â insisted Comley, following yesterdayâs training session at Florence Park, Tiptree. âBut we donât know what will happen yet. For the next few weeks I will be focusing everything on helping to win more games for Colchester United. âIâm loving it here, and I certainly would not turn my nose up if Colchester wanted me to stay longer. âIâd like to stay,â added Comley. A superb run of just two defeats in 15 league matches has seen the Uâs rise from just above the relegation zone to the middle of the play-off zone, just one point adrift of the last automatic promotion slot. The Essex club actually lost their first four away games of the season, but since then they have been in terrific form on the road, losing just one of their last eight away fixtures. There have been wins at Yeovil, Newport, Barnet, Swindon and Crawley, and draws at Coventry and Grimsby, And they will be looking to extend that marvellous away record at lowly Chesterfield tomorrow afternoon (kick-off 3pm). âWe are proving a very hard side to break down,â explained Comley. - âWe will have to get players out to get players inâ - John McGreal âIn fact, I think that other teams prefer to play us when we are at home, although we have been doing well at home as well. âItâs a very enjoyable time at the moment, and weâve just got to keep it going now. âItâs always nice to be winning games, especially when you are up in the play-off positions. Itâs a great feeling to be up there. âEveryone is buzzing and the dressing room is a great place to be at the moment. We are all feeling very confident. âItâs not really a surprise to me, how well we have done recently, because I could see the potential when I first came to the club, in terms of the training and in the quality of the players. âI played against many of these players last season, when I was at Grimsby Town (on loan from QPR), so I knew how good they were and, being mostly younger lads, how much enthusiasm they had. âThe main thing when you are playing football is to enjoy it. I learnt that from a very early age.â Even though the Uâs have suffered just two defeats over the last three months, and are on the crest of a wave, Comley realises that much work still lies ahead if the Uâs are to be end-of-season promotion contenders. âWe have not achieved anything yet,â admitted Comley. âWe have to keep focused on our main goal, which is to be in this sort of position come the end of the season. That has to be our outlook for every game, to stay up there all season. âThere must be no let-up. Chesterfield are down near the bottom but they are a very dangerous side. We cannot write anyone off. âIf you are not 100% on it, then you will get a shock, regardless of where the opposition happen to be in the league. âPersonally, I am happy with my own form at the moment. Iâm playing all right just now, and I donât think that Iâve actually had a bad spell since I have been at the club. âIâve already doubled my assists this season, because I only got one (for Grimsby) last season, and I already have two this year. Thatâs something I am working hard on, to add to my game and so improve me as a player. âAt Crawley, I saw that Sammie (Szmodics) had made a good run and I was confident that he was going to finish it. I knew that he would score. âEven in training, Sammie has been banging them in for fun,â added Comley. Comley should again partner Lapslie in central midfield, while leading scorer Szmodics will be looking to further add to his 12 goals for the season.

First edition for 2018. I wonder how Alex Finney's jaw was broken. Game or non-game related!? www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/loan-rangers-ingram-suffers-wigan-loss/Loan Rangers: Ingram suffers Wigan lossDavid Scriven @dmscriven MATT Ingramâs Northampton Town suffered a narrow defeat to League One leaders Wigan Athletic on New Yearâs Day. Ingram was in goal as the Cobblers suffered a 1-0 loss at home to the Latics thanks to Nick Powellâs fifth minute winner. Ingram, who is on loan at the Sixfields Stadium until the end of the season, has made 19 appearances for Jimmy Floyd Hasselbainkâs side who are 22nd in the table. Meanwhile, Eberechi Eze ended his half season loan spell with Wycombe Wanderers in winning fashion. Eze, who returned to Loftus Road earlier today following the completion of his time with the League Two side, played the 15 minutes of the Chairboys 2-1 win at Forest Green Rovers. The 19-year-old departs with Gareth Ainsworthâs side fourth in the League Two table. His Râs teammate Jack Williams was an unused substitute. Elsewhere in League Two, midfielder Brandon Comley was a second half substitute for Colchester United in their 0-0 draw with Shaun Derryâs Cambridge United. Comley replaced Sean Murray in the 69th minute at the Weston Homes Community Stadium as the Uâs dropped out of the top seven. Defender Alex Finney has been ruled out for the remainder of his loan spell at Maidstone United after breaking his jaw in two places on Boxing Day. His deal at the National League side was due to expire on 6th January but after the Under-23s centre-back underwent surgery last week he will miss the remainder of that deal. Custodian Seny Dieng helped Whitehawk seal their first win of the season with a 4-1 victory against Eastbourne Borough. The Under-23s keeper played the full 90 minutes for the National League South outfit who are still rooted to the foot of the table. Finally, fellow Under-23s stopper Conor Hudnott made his debut for Staines Town in their 5-1 defeat against the Met Police.

From Blackpool's Offie www.blackpoolfc.co.uk/news/2018/january/lumley-aims-to-build-on-solid-debut/Lumley Aims To Build On Solid DebutKeeper Targets More Games To Enhance Development Joe Lumley is hoping to build on a solid debut for Blackpool and further showcase his abilities during his time on loan with the club. The goalkeeper, who signed for The Seasiders on a temporary deal from QPR earlier this week, kept a clean sheet at Shrewsbury Town in midweek and made a number of important saves. âI showed what I can do out there. The gaffer likes to play out from the back and I think thatâs a strong point of my game. I tried to do that as much as I could and I made a few saves as well,â the 22-year-old said. No stranger to spending time out in loan in order to enhance his development, Lumley made a big impression playing for tomorrowâs visitors Bristol Rovers last season. âIâm looking forward to the weekend,â he admitted. âI had a really good time there, itâs a really good club. âIâm at a stage of my career where Iâve got to keep getting games out on loan. I thought I did really well last season and hopefully I can do better here.â Lumleyâs loan move to Blackpool came with the blessing of former Pool boss Ian Holloway, who has selected the stopper on the bench in numerous Championship matches this season. âHe gave me his best wishes. Heâs a good guy and Iâve learnt loads from him since heâs been at the club, and he obviously took Blackpool up when he was here,â Lumley added.

Latest www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/loan-rangers-goss-scores-in-rangers-defeat/Loan Rangers: Goss scores in Rangers defeatDavid Scriven @dmscriven SEAN Goss scored a stunning equaliser for Rangers but it wasnât enough to prevent them from suffering a 2-1 defeat against Hibernian at the weekend. The QPR midfielder curled a delightful free-kick over the Hibs wall (below) in the 73rd minute to score his first goal for the Gers cancelling out John McGinnâs first-half opener. However, just two minutes later a penalty from Jamie Maclaren meant that the 22-year-olds efforts were in vain. Meanwhile, following Blackpoolâs late postponement against Charlton last weekend keeper Joe Lumley was back in action for the Tangerines on Saturday at Bury. The Râs keeper, on loan at the League One side until the end of the season, played the full 90 minutes at Gigg Lane as George Millerâs late leveller meant that Lumley had to settle for a 1-1 draw. As a result, The Seasiders are now 19th in the table, two points above the relegation zone. However, after joining League Two side Colchester United on Deadline Day, Râs winger Olamide Shodipo was not in the Uâs matchday squad for their 2-0 win at home to Newport County on Saturday. It was the same story for Under-23s defender Alex Finney who also not present for Maidstone Unitedâs 2-2 FA Trophy draw with Gateshead and Under-18s centre-back Caden Genovesi who missed Whitehawkâs 5-1 win against Weston-super-Mare in the National League South. Finally, keeper Conor Hudnott helped Staines Townâs promotion push as The Swans recorded a 4-2 win at home to Merstham in the Isthmian League Premier Division. Under-23s stopper Hudnott played the full 90 minutes for the fifth-placed outfit.
