From westlondonsport. Another one for the " Only at QPR" file! QPR’s friendly in Berlin abandoned after 13 minutesBy West London Sport 22/07/2017 QPR’s pre-season friendly against FC Union Berlin was abandoned after 13 minutes because of torrential rain. The conditions led to the referee taking the players off the field and twice suspending play before it was decided that the match would not resume because the pitch was unplayable. Rangers, whose pre-season campaigns have been blighted by various problems over the last decade or so, were playing the first of a two-game visit to Germany. They are due to play Lokomotive Leipzig on Sunday.

....and from the Offie www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/union-berlin-match-abandoned-after-waterlogged-pitch/Union Berlin match abandoned after waterlogged pitchMatt Webb @mattwebb987 QPR’s pre-season friendly at Union Berlin fell foul of some quite incredible weather conditions in Germany. The match only lasted 12 minutes and 38 seconds before referee Henry Muller called time on proceedings, with the game goalless. To the officials’ credit, they gave the fixture every chance of resuming but, following two further pitch inspections in a 30-minute period, the match was finally postponed. More to follow.

Looking on the bright side. At least those who made it onto the park had a good 12 mins and 38 secs workout!

Oh well another loss. Still at least we will be used to defeats when the new season starts.
Maybe sign a few defenders instead of midfielders.

To be fair, UB start their season next week and are much further along than we are in terms of pre-season. Remember when we beat Watford pre-season, looked a lot better than them and Troy Deeney looked absolutely bang average?
We actually played some really decent football in the second half.
