It is hoped the alterations at QPR’s Loftus Road stadium and training ground will boost flows of energy and lead to better performances in games.
The feng shui masters also wanted players to use entrance doors dependent on their squad number, it is believed.
Club bosses Tony Fernandes and Kamarudin Meranun, whose Tune Group took over the running of The Hoops in 2011, are devotees of the Chinese philosophical system.
Les Ferdinand, the West London outfit’s director of football, said: “It’s part of their culture. Lots of businesses use it and we’re no different.
QPR supremo Tony Fernandes is a feng shui devotee
“We’ve had experts in during the close season. They’ve moved stuff around and done bits and pieces and made things face certain ways.”
Ex-England and QPR striker Les added: “It’s supposed to create better flow and better order but I haven’t really noticed any difference in the smooth running of the place.”
The experts are QPRs only summer signing other than midfielder Josh Scowen, 24, on a free transfer from Barnsley.
One fan of the club, 18th last season, said of the feng shui ploy: “They’d be better off rearranging their defence.
“If they don’t buy better players it’ll be like rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic.
